hey~ everyone, i was jus wondering if it was worth it to get all 5 windows of my civic coupe tinted for 160 from Ideal tint in richmond?
they have a lifetime warranty and they use solar guard...........

btw does ne 1 know if the is300 exhaust and grill will fit on my civic?

Just curious. I want to get the same thing done. is 160 including taxes. Plus we may be able to do a group buy, I know there is about 5 others on this board that wanted to get the same thing done.

Hey~ its 160 if you pay cash but you do not get a lifetime warranty because you don't have a reciept. ~ if you pay 160 with tax (which is worth it) you get a lifetime warranty on the back 3 windows of the coupe not the front two becaue they are illegal..~ I still find 160 a little pricey however i think we can go lower than 160 if we have five or more cars i already have
s2k, is300, civic on the list..i'm also going to chek out the other tint places and see what they offer but from what i heard ideal tint in richmond is one of the best in town.>~

If we do a gb we have to do it all on one day..so 2hrs each car some might take longer like the is300 cuz it has 7 windows..one right after the other..~

i wanna do it soon but most likely after the april 19th car show because the s2k is going 2 entered in the show and parts are still being put on as we speak>>~
so just post a reply if u wanna do a gb.~

hey ppl.. cartunes recommended me this tint place in portmoody called shades. They have really good customer service and everything...neway i talked to the guy for about an hour about tinting our cars..well here it goes..there are two different type of tint dye and metallic or something metallic cant really remember... both of them are from Sun guard(best brand out there)...neway he is going to charge me 175+taxes=200.03 for 5 windows at any tint levels... its 15 more than ideal tint...but if we get more cars he said that he can lower the price by a bit..not much tho..also we wouldn't have to do it all at the same times unlike ideal..we can just book an appointment on watever day we want.>~ the metallic one is better than the dye because it doesnt turn purple or bubble after five years....so for 15 more i rather get metallic instead of the dye...theres also a lifetime warranty on this tint from Sunguard.... btw this thursday he is going to get this contract with Sunguard which gives him this no fault warranty..(Shades will be the only one that has this warranty is the lowermainland) which is an extra 30 bucks..~ this insures that if the cops or n e 1 keys or try to rip off your tint...they will replace it for free of charge...For example, if a cop pulls u over, then key ur windows and tell you to take off the tint..all u have to do is go to shades, remove the tint,,,show it to the cop without the tint..and go back to Shades and retint it again all free of charge...this is an extra 30......

if u want the no fault warranty~~~~~~......weree actually getting a pretty good deal then cuz in thebeginning i thought we were going to get jewed or somethign........~ my frend did his is300 todya and it looked pretty good..~
btw if n e wants a cheaper place with lifetime...my frend has the hook up for 150...five windows.~ pretty good price..neway pm me when u wanna go down so we cann all go together.>~
