i asked this girl (at work in another department...yes i know it might be wrong) for her phone number before Christmas and she gave it to me...i called her up but she was busy...several days later i called her but i got her voicemail and so i left a message saying i was just calling to say hi...several days later i saw her at work and she said sorry but she was kinda busy that night i called plus the fact that i didn't leave my number for her to try and call back if ever she will...fast forward probably a month later (sometime past the middle of january) i saw her again at work...and she says hi..and then i said hi and went on my way to work...after work i asked her if she wanted to watch a movie (LOTR) but she said no which was totally fine...i pretty much just wanted to see the movie...i then decided to call her that night and i got her voicemail again...there i said hi and left my phone number...several days later...saw her again and she said she was meaning to call me but never got around to it...i smiled and said its ok then i went on my way to work...fast forward to last week (thursday or friday)...i was focused on my task at work and when she passed by i smiled and said hi and pretty much went on doing my task ignoring pretty much anything else that has nothing to do with what job i had to do (job/task=irrelevant in this case)...
then today i got word that she reported me for harrasment...what did i do wrong? don't get me wrong as well...its somehow of a compliment to me that that is what my supervisor said...everyone in my department laughed because they can't believe it...this coming from a guy that got "dumped" twice (plus a few other putdowns of the same nature) with the reason "YOU"RE TOO NICE!"
but my question is...is it fair to me to get this kind of treatment?

What a bitch! if she didn't want to get bothered by she shouldnt of given her number in the first place ..u didnt do nethin wrong..jus tryin to make a friend but some advice from a girl is that the first time u ask her to do something and she says no, and the 2nd time she says no, then most likely , shes not interested..and if she doesnt answer ur calls or voicemails, thats prob another sign. but i dont blame u because girls can be confusing sometimes...... =) for me, if i really want to get to know the guy , ill go out with him the first time he asks to do something, even if i have plans already, ill find some time afterwards.. i only asked her once and that was it...the rest were just friendly hi's...shes the one bringin up that she forgot to call...meh...it was just too funny...people who really knows me would probably laugh and point at her for jumping into funny conclusions like that

thanks guys and gals for the replies...what kinda disturbed me is that this was like a month ago and she complained now...i only called her like 3 times in the past 3 months and thats coz she said i didn't call / left my number / to call and leave a voice message...but i'm just lauging it off...
