eek..im in trouble

ok guys heres the story..i know its bad on my behalf..but here goes..
i rear ended a lady about mid december..the damages werent bad on my bumper just a scartch..but the car i rear ended need to get his bumper/trunk fixed so she agreed NOT to go thourgh icbc.. after the accident, i never heard from her anymore, only the husbad. he tried to rip me off by going to get an estimate for his damages and it stated $2000. but when i went to another shop, they said $400.00 and i noticed something really fishy..as if he knew the guy writing the estimate at craftsman collision and told him to jack up the price or someting... well he agreed to go to my shop. when we met at the shop..i thought all i had to do was pay for his damages. but then he said that his wife's neck hurts and that she has to go to physio and he wants me to pay for it..about 150$ he wanted. but i really think he's jus tryin to rip me off cuz icbc wouldnt even cover that if he went thru them cuz the damages were so small...well his car has been fixed by last december already but i never paid him his physio money and he said hes goin to the cops now..wahts hould i so????? do i HAVE to pay him that extra money??

hi, ok take these things into consideration for yourself not to worry, are there any witness'? can he prove that there was an accident? i think its too late to report nething to the cops if u orijinally decided to pay for car damage only, i wouldnt stress, if he doesnt have proof plus to file a police report u have 72hrs and if that passed dont stress, save that money and buy yourself something nice

I doubt that you'll be in trouble. He's just threatening. If you really want to be safe, get him to get the physio to write you a report about the her accident history, her condition and number of treatments/treatment type and fax it to my office. I own a rehab clinic and I will look it over for you. I can usually determine fraud w/ MVA claims.

same thing happened to me too, the difference is that there's no damage at all.... well only a little scratch on the other party's car and mine (smaller than a dime), and that guy goes to icbc and claim for injury.
Can I as the other party get the copy of that "fake" doctor's report from icbc ? there's no way that I injured that guy, it's a low motion impact

You should be able to request a copy of the report... If not talk to a lawyer, lots of them give free consultations

some people are so wack nowadays...everyone knows that they're faking it...i think even icbc will be on your side since they don't want any part in parting with money from insurance claims (that 1 million liability insurance or what not)...

but

she went to my insurance company neways..and got me screwed....cuz well lets just say that I payed for her car that had no damages caused y the accident...that happened between her and I...but instead I ended up paying to repair her old damages from her other accident....and.....the great part is...

He can't do anything and if he calls the cops.. it's HIS fault for not going thtough ICBC. I wouldn't worry about it. Have him prove it... the guy is too poor to sue you anyways so I wouldn't worry about it if he's riding you for 150$.. what a loser... Just pay for his damages... whatever.. if he tries to get this then what's next.. he should of gone through ICBC... Now that you have paid for damages outside of ICBC.. I don't think he's even allowed to make a claim.. going outside of ICBC benefits the person who's fault it is... so you have the upper hand.. if your the victim you should ALWAYS go through ICBC.. even if it's little.. because then ICBC knows whats going on and they can go after the person for you.... I wouldn't worry.. tell him to screw off.

Hi there. I am sorry that I can not give you this information due to doctor patient confidentiality. We are only allowed to have the document our selves as the injured party has given us permission to do so, with the understanding that we will not share this information with anyone else.

that's why it's great to have a camera in the car....

i got rear ended and the 3 peeps in the teg tried to screw me over and blamed me for everything.....they couldn't say jack shiet after they saw me take the pics..

even if the pics wont help, once the other party knows you have evidence, they'll be too intimidated to make up shiet unless it's injuries..

i even took pics of the people...
