WTB: 7th gen oem head unit..

ok, i have this alpine cd changer i'd like to use with my oem HU but i heard honda swithed up the pinouts or protocol...

i don't want to burn my HU and i know lots of u have removed ur HU...

does anyone want to donate one to me for testing or sell one to me for around $50?

if i get it working, i'll share the results with u peeps and no one will have to pay that ridiculous $800 for oem changers...

(and pls dont tell me to get an aftermarket HU...i already have a changer and i like how the oem HU matches my orange dash lights..i also like the feel of the oem HU...very easy to operate without looking at it...)

yes, i need a security code to operate the HU...

if it's still plugged into the car, i can give u the key sequence to retrieve the code from the HU...if u have unplugged it, only way to get the security code is to give dealer your VIN and ask them to look it up for u...u'll need ur registration papers as proof it's ur car....
