PLEASE HELP!! :*(

okay, being the cheapass that i am, a friend and i tried to install my deck ourselves. BAAAAD IDEA!!! not knowing anything about cars or car audio, i tried to pry off the trim piece myself with a flathead screwdriver (seriously, how stupid could i get??) now i have all these dents and scratches on my vinyl around the trim. i was seriously about to CRY when i saw what i did! then i just didn't want to take any more risks so i took it to a&b sound and got my deck installed there. i knew they were secretly laughing at me for being so stupid but anyways...what i need help on is i want to know if there's ANY way i can fix the vinyl around my trim??? for a decent price of course. PLEASE HELP!! i'm so sad....

That sucks! I feel for ya. I would be pissed to. I got my friend to do the install for and it looks sweet! How much did A&B charge if you don't mind me asking?

My question is did you actually damage the dash or the plastic trim ring?.....if you damaged the trim ring you can have it sanded, re textured and dyed to match the original. or buy a new one....if its the dash that can be a more complicated subject to fix....involving heat, and color match dye....good luck...PM for more info

hmm..ur supposed to take the piece under the 12V and then unscrew it from there ..
thats how ive seen the guys from canada east do it for me.. yea yea..i know im a lazy **** tooo haha
i dont think u can buy any extra vinyl unless u plan on buying a whole new dash..as for the trim i think they go any where from 150 to 300 for the whole set..unless u can get one of the guys in can west to give their silver dash trim. it might cover it up some
