I would suggest using a saw!

I hope that helps!

I wouldn't recommend cutting it at all. I had the Revo Technia installed and well, it made it too hard to shift. Now, I have problems with my first gear and my second gear. Lets just say I used and abused my car, now, I have to pay.

Hey rkotlowski, I'm in Surrey and a friend of mine cut my shift **** down with a circular grinder connected to a compressor. If you want. email me at JDQuik@shaw.ca and we will set up a time to get this done. It looks way better with my Momo and with my Solo short shift adapter, I've had no problems.

Just remember not to force it into gear at all when it's shorter, you will wreck your synchros that way. About 50% of the time, I can't put it into first, both from a standstill and from 20km/h and under.

Thanks,
I'll keep that in mind! If you just take the short shifter out, can you claim in under warranty?

If i were you I would take as much aftermarket stuff off as you can! Or they will void the warranty!

Dave, I really abused my car with that short shifter. I couldn't even put it in to 1st gear unless the car was stopped. Nice, eh? I think a short shifter is fine as long as you don't force it into gear.
