I hope so, cause I have one too. It will take forever to take it off and put the stock one back in.
I think it's ok providing you don't drive through any big puddles.

Do you have a CAI cause if you did you would see that it's pretty hard to get some snow in the engine through the CAI the filter pretty well covered in the engine! It's up in the bumper. I don't think you could suck any snow in there in the first place. It's the water you have to worry about. If you have a bypass valve you should be fine. Besides I don't have to worry about snow in vancouver.

I didn't want to take it off because its a big pain in the a$$. I personally think it should be alright, I just wanted a few peoples views. I do have a bypass valve.

I have to say that I like the idea of converting to a Short Ram in case of a large snow fall. (Which will not be happening as it has already been forecast Vancouver will be recieving a very mild winter this year).
I think I'll leave mine, if for some fluke it snows a bunch, I think I'lljust convert it to a Short Ram and be a little late for work.

rkotlowski: injen makes CAI for auto. Race division intake is for both auto and manual trans.
i just got email from tornactive. and i dicided to get injen short ram.
i asked the same question and Rob from tornactive told me that race division intake hangs real low
and i may suck something up.
is $340 US shipped good deal for goldline springs and injen sri?
