Hey Guys,
I'm new to the group and I just bought a 2002 Civic SI Coupe. I was wondering where you guys get your aftermarket gear. I have the cash, but I don't want to get worked. I've been to a few car places in WEM, but the guys there seem like they don't know what there talkin about.

Any help would be nice!

Thanks!

If you don't want to get worked, ask me for advice. I know where to get the goods from. Usually, Auto Toyz in WEM is a no-no. Same with E-Z Motorsports. Just ask me what you want and I can help you.

Thanks Blown!

I'm a manager of a local resturant, and I barely have time to mod my car. I would like a cold air intake or maybe a short ram air intake as my first mod, then I'll move down to the exhaust. I'm also considering a front strut bar and coil overs. So little time so much I want to do before the white crap starts to fall....(knock on wood) Any help or advice would be awesome.

Okay, stick with a AEM cold air intake, wouldn't get anything else! As for price, I wouldn't pay more than $369+gst from a local store. Try Matrix Motorsports. You can haggle the prices! As for a catback, I have a guy you can phone, around $440+gst shipped for a Magnaflow. As for a strutbar, they are worth the money! And, I would wait on buying coilovers for a while. Until you can afford struts that is! It's best to install both of them at once, struts and coilovers. That way you can save all of you stock equipment and can replace it at anytime. You'll blow your stock struts in a couple of weeks if you don't change them out. As for getting stuff installed, I've done everything on my car and I wouldn't pay anyone to do it. I can help you install.

Hey Blown!

I need to know where I can buy a CAI, hopefully not online. I'd like to try to DIY, but some advice would help! AEM or Injen?

Cheapest place in edmonton is Matrix motorsports, look for the number in the phone book. As for which brand, AEM all the way!

Hey Blown!
Thanks for the info and help! I used the DIY on the site and I got my CAI in. But it took me like 3 figgin hours cuz I had to bolt down to Home Depot to buy a nut to go with the AEM bracket. I think I'll get the exhaust next, how much installed? And will the CAI void my Honda Warranty?

No it won't void your warranty. If you blow you engine because of you CAI and they can prove it, then the warranty won't cover that. However, if you struts go or you have some annoying rattles. They will still do the work.

I can get you a magnaflow exhaust for $480(minus 10%)+gst shipped to your door. It's a joke to install, quite easily.
