Hey guys. I will be moving to Vancouver in 2 months. I just need to know what the average insurance rates are for Basic ICBC coverage for an LX model. Your responses are appreciated!!!

Depends what you qualiify for.............you can get up to 40% off with a good driving record.
Also depends on yur age. My insurance is about 1400/year.

yea mine is bout 2 grand a year under my mom for my civic
and 2500 a year for the jetta vr6 both new cars 01 years. and its under my name *sigh*

well im out in the okanagan valley so my insurance costs are prolly substantially less than what i'd pay in vancouver... mine is about 1800/yr ... I have a 20 or 25% discount - the discount grows 5% per safe-driving year... but it used to go up 10% per safe driving year... so I don't really know how much of a discount I have anymore [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

mine is just above $1700 with i think 45% discount. it's under my dad's name cuz i'm still at +300%!
