I have not raced anyone yet, cuz I am too chicken. Another reason is because I do not want high insurance premiums incase something happens.

Mods=nothing I do not have any money

Future Mods=not until I pay off my car.

I have an AEM CAI and a magnaflow catback exhaust. I haven't raced much with those mods, an older 96 civic HB(beat him bigtime), an older V8 dodge pickup(the s-10 sized one) I beat him by 4 cars at least and then he flew through a red light(rednecks just never pay attention to traffic!), and a mazda protege. I won't say I got beat by the protege but I definitly couldn't get the traction to beat him(I kept up to him even though I spun through 1st and half of 2nd). I look forward to this summer to actually be able to race people.

Now, do you guys think my civic could beat a 2002 stock cavalier 2.2L, 5spd? I have been challenged to a race and I really don't think he could beat me. I owned a 2.2L before and it was bloody slow!

It's a 4 door sedan. I am not worried but I know this guy and he won't lose to me. So, chances are he'll wreck his car and I don't want that.

This guys pretty dumb, he was willing to bet me $1000 that chevy makes a brand new V6 cavalier. I was like, no they don't and I don't take money from suckers so, I won't bet you.

I won't race him, I never race my friends or family. Just isn't right.

No, nothing attached to the race. Just a bet whether or not you can buy a brand new cavalier with a V6 in it. It would have been an easy $1000.

Damn...he's messed up in the head or something. @anyone putting faith in domestic cars. He sounds like he'd probably be a ***** if he lost anyway, so...not worth it.

Well, here is the update. I brought my gtech to the cavalier's guys house on the weekend. His fastest 0-60 time was 10.39seconds with an average of about 10.47 seconds. Very slow! I have mine down to 8.47 seconds consistently! So, I didn't even bother racing him. I took him for a spin in my car though, and he admitted that his car would get spanked good!

I can probably vouch for the fastest LX in the city but I don't know if I can beat a Si yet.
