It's the Si-G with a spoiler, skirts, chrome exaust finisher, custom floor mats, emblem, carbon fibre... Hmm. That's all I can think of. It was just a nation-wide deal package. Still, it's limited. I'm SPECIAL.
Actually, the fog lights didn't come with the Veloz. I just wanted them. I was so close to getting gold emblems until I decided it might give the wrong impression.
I'll keep the Veloz emblem on. Just something that sticks out from the rest (for now). Plus, anyone from Edmonton will recognize me.

Checkers Lounge in Sherwood Park. You can actually see the sign in one of the pictures of my car. If you like karaoke, it's got a pretty good selection. Every day except Mondays and Wednesdays.

Incajay, actually, the Veloz package is cheaper. We just pay a price of $1100 (Canadian) for all that stuff you listed. The spoiler and the rear skirt alone already costs about that much.
Blown, I think I'm only going to get 17" wheels. I don't need any audio or engine mods. I want my fuel economy. No lowering either. I want my tires to last. No body kits (will ruin the point of getting the Veloz). Maybe just something for the passenger side seat. Prefferably around 100-130lbs and blonde.

yea, but if you look. you can probably do it cheaper. for example. I think there was a group buy for the full OEM kit for $400 sometime. Rule #1, never buy anything from the dealer. lol.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, for the most part engine mods will improve fuel economy as they're making the engine more efficient. but if you utilize them by driving hard there goes your economy. Also, if you lower your car right, there shouldn't be any increased wear on the tires. It's all about modding the car the right way.

So, are you planning on keeping your current rims for winter time? What kind of 17s do you want? I plan on getting rims for my car as well. So far, I have a AEM CAI, blue neon lights inside, honda spoiler, and just got a Magnaflow catback exhaust today. This month has been good to me.

Sweet. I'm keeping my current rims for sure. Not sure if I'm going to keep them for winter use exactly... I'm leasing so if I ever have to return it, I think the car has to be in pretty much the same condition as when I bought it. Thus, no mods. However, I might want to buy it out later. I'm so indecisive. But at the current time, I can't buy it out. No $$$. Gotta save up.
I lease CAN be better for you if:
1) lower payments... you can drive a better/larger/faster car than you can afford to finance (although this will definately cost you more in the long run)
2) the interest difference is huge between loan and lease
3) you can claim the lease for business expenses (it's easier than trying to depreciate if you own it)
4) if you want a new car every couple of year
5) if you don't buy Honda/Toyota/??? -- i.e. give it back when the warrantee is up
6) if you are only going to be ain a certain place short term (less than 4 years -- e.g. college) and you know you won't be taking your car back home

Looks like you got lotsa snow too! Boo!

Thanks guys! I love the car. Always trying to find excuses to go out and drive it.
Anyway, I went with the lease because it's cheaper for now and I should have a much better job by the time I have to pay for the rest. So that's why I chose that.

I was in the same boat as you... lucky for me, my parents gave me a "pay off whenever you can" $7500 loan which brought my downpayment to $10,000 CDN - the payments are ultra low now, i can afford my car on EI... all i have to do is pay my parents $50/mo for interest relief on their credit line... So... I will be paying for my civic in its entirity - but my parents helped get my payments low so if i found myself unemployed (which i eventually did) I could still afford the car.
I borrowed most of the money I needed for my car. I made my term to 60 months, that way my monthly payments were quite affordable. I also saved up this summer so during school I could afford to pay insurance and my loan payment.
