with all the postwhoring (which i do find somewhat amusing SOMETIMES) and the crap that is floating around all the forums i'm really getting bored of this site. the knowledge base of the site has gone down so friggin badly. it's frustrating to see a good thing go sour.

anyhoo.. that's just my opinion. had to rant.

here's something that helps... stop looking at General Ramblings... I rarely find anything to say in there. I find my favourite forum to frequent is the Detailing one because there is a lot of useful info flying around there. other than that I visit canada west

well i am a little disappointed in that thread you, asianpride, and nitehawk have going on... thats genuine PWing and too much of it will get this site shut down... PWing costs a lot of money for the owner of the site im sure.

we were using the bandwidth at lowtime though. although your right. I don't PW like that in the day time. and some useful info can go around. such as the edmonton car club stuff.

i think that's how all us "old timers" feel ha ha...not many of em around cept for the mods, even blah's gone....allman rarely frequents...grey's still sorta posting cuz he's a mod...but yeah full of crap on the forums. it's sad to see hardly any of the newbies making any effort to contribute good stuff...at least i know when allman posts there's some new GOOD info ...

ah well my rant my rant. just posted an oil change DIY btw for those who might feel the need to change their oil.

Yeah...i dunno...there's only so many mods you can do to a car before you run out of things. Really, what else is there that hasn't been covered on this forum? IMO this is not only a site to get technical support and news about the civic, but also a site for the owners of 7th gen civics to just hang out and talk sh!te...cuz we all have one common interest already.

Truth be told, if we were restricted to talking about mods, this forum would be stagnant or dead, and then we'd be even more disappointed i think.....

I dont see a problem here. There IS an off topic section for posts like this, so Derek obviously doesn't mind if we just shoot the **** about random stuff. We've just moved it into a regional forum because we know each other better, and we're trying to get a club started.

Its cause all the news is old now, there is nothing good that has come out for the 2k1 in a couple months, the HP header just came out, which is cool, but I know what you mean, im getting sick of the questions....what is the best Intake?? Will a Muffler void my warranty?? Will 17in rims fit???

It does get frustrating.
