I think my 2017 Civic Hatch Sport Manual needs a new alternator at 72000 miles

I was driving home the other day and a guy in a truck with a trailer tried to cut me off. I didn't let him over so he threw something at my car (I am not sure what) and started speeding off. I called 911 and when I was on the phone with them my speedometer read 0 and the EPS (Electronic power system) starting failing on me, the cruise control wouldn't work, and the mileage estimator was gone. I pulled off and finally decided that I can drive home.
I made it yesterday and went to O-riely to have them read the EPS code which was coming going on/ off. I also had them test my battery and he tells me that I need a new alternator and battery then recommends that I go to the Honda dealership. I then went to Walmart and got myself a battery charger/tester and charged the current battery for about an hour and then tested the alternator with it. The tester says that the alternator is bad also.
Then today I went to Aamco who said they will do a free evaluation on the car, they tell me that my battery and alternator is fine and they have to do a $200 deep evaluation (they said it was the electrical system). After I left I get a check engine light that never showed up before.

Has anybody had this happen before?
Does anybody know if Aamco could have messed with my codes and cause the new code to come up?

I am getting these codes from the EPS
C1432:62 Vehicle speed and the engine speed incorrect correlation
UO416:68: VAS system malfunction

Did the item they threw go underneath the car? Possible damage some wiring?

Check that the battery terminals are clean and tight
