GPS acting strange

Hello,
what can cause the GPS to display the GPS home page (the one with the "Where to?" menu) instead of going straight to map view, on a cold boot?
For 6 years it always went straight to the map view after acknowledging the infotainment disclaimer, but a few days ago it started doing this instead.
And to make things even weirder, *sometimes* after a few seconds it goes automatically to map view, but 9 times out of 10 it doesn't, so if I want the map I need to touch "Map" on the home page.
Can a low battery explain this? Because mine is EOL (the start/stop system does not engage either, with the "low charge" icon).

Re: GPS acting strange

Low battery voltage can cause all sorts of issues with electronics. I would not be surprised at all if that was the cause.
