As in the title, there is a clicking sound when completely stopped and then accelerating. Mind you, it does not have to be heavy acceleration. The best description is like a clicking sound, like if something was loose but only able to move in the longitudinal axis .

What to look for:

Clicking Sound (accelerating) at 2 seconds
Clicking Sound (Braking) at 5 seconds
Clicking Sound (accelerating) at 8 seconds

So if the car is stationary and you rev the engine it won’t make the noise? Do you have a Jack and Jack stands? Could be brake or suspension related.

thank you for your reply.

That is what I was thinking, when revving in neutral, there is no sound. I believe it may be coming from under the center console, I looked and it seems like it was disassembled before so I am maybe looking into opening myself.

Could be something as simple as a heat shield. I’d put the car up on Jack stands/Ramps and start looking around where you hear the sound.

this is going to sound even more outrageous, the sound has stopped completely twice and under these circumstances:
1) Snowing
2) Raining

I am believing it has to be like a mount on the undercarriage that may be bad or missing lubrication ?

Not sure.
