Hey folks, I’m looking for some help with identifying what could be wrong w/my car.
Problem: The car will crank up and stay on for about 2-4 seconds before cutting off. This issue has been going on for about a week. It seems to only happen in the morning.
Recent fixes on the car: I had a mobile mechanic take a look and determined that I needed a tuneup. I had a different mechanic install new spark plugs, that’s the only thing he changed so it wasn’t a full tune up. We also had a new battery installed and new rear brakes installed. I had it towed to a third mechanic that couldn’t find anything wrong with the car. He said he drove it around and checked everything and it looks fine. I was even able to drive the car back home that afternoon. BUT when I tried to crank it up the following morning, it cut on for a few seconds and cut right back off again.
Other info that may be important: There are no check engines lights on. All the interior lights/radio does turn on when it’s cranked up. I do have to manually lock and unlock the doors bc I lost my key fob.
I do need an oil change (oil is currently at 40%)
what do you all think the possible issue is?
