$55,000??!?!

WTF.. ahhh... it's a little over priced. They'll still sell it all for sure..

But if I had the cash-o-la, I'd rather buy the G35 premium (brembo brakes, aero kit, 18's, etc), and SAVE 8 thousand dollars (for 20in rims??)...

$55,000 is too hard to swallow, for a Subaru that goes really fast.

If I had a choice between the StI or the Evo8... I'll take the Evo8 anyday!! Not as much power but at least it looks nicer... IMO!

the STI are going gor 55,000 on the road. my friends Dad is like sales manager at erin mill subaru and he said the STI's are all sold out, every single one gets sold everytime they get one. I asked him to take one home so i can take it for a spin, but he said not even he the managers nor the sales rep can take those out as demos.

I'd take the subaru... Hands down! Why, well it's quicker (13.1), You can manually control the diff... It's only like $2 000 more than the evo... The Evo has a NASTY *** interior! Plus the evo is only a 2.0 and not to much more room for performance potential... The subaru has ALOT more potential over the evo!

magazines give EVO8 the nod, but for average joes like most of us wont give a hoot...

STI does have much nicer interior, EVO is just downright LANCER, worse than our civics.

I saw STI 4 weeks ago driving down the highway.... with no plates... LOL.... awesome throaty sound that thing makes, ^^

i pick STi no question ask. as for price, it is somewhat hard to swallow but damn 300/300 is hard number to get on any stock car. wish it was twin turbo for that money...

ultimate racing imported the 1ST mitsu evo 8 in the whole canada

Hmm now it sounds like just a matter of time until Skyline is unleashed. Probably when they come out with R36 or whatever is next on order.

Be pretty cool if they bring it here... it'll be like the old days again, when every jap car maker had a high performance car.

Dang I heard the STi is expensive and I guess it is, if i was serious about buying I would definately need to look at the options, for that price you can get a bimmer or something luxury, the STi looks pretty good and is all performance I believe, but i think the interior is crust? Guess can't have everything

net: teh sti interior improved alot compare to the older impreza. have u seen the interior of GC8? those are plain ugly period. the new age wrx are alright but still not as nice as honda, acura, mazda..etc

will toyota brings out a redesigned supra in the future?
from 01Coupe's list, seems liek toyota are out of the sport car market now cuz they focus in the minivan and truck segment.

i like the MR-S in USA but too slow with only 140HP, love MR2 turbo...damn, and why discontinued the supra? i know they are not selling but i seen more supra than nsx (nsx are still on sale but rare special order at the dealer)

I see what your saying, but I was kinda intending its not all about speed, as i said you can get something more luxury, the BMW has so many functions that aren't necessary but would be cool to have, i've seen the interior, not too impressed but at the same time not dissapointed because thats what i was expecting, its still manual ***** and so forth, only nice thing about the interior is the gauges and the seats aren't too bad

The horspower issue might have to do with the relocation of the intercooler for the Canadian version since, front mount intercoolers aren't permitted here.

I think it has to do with collision safety but I wouldn't worry about it man, the stock intercooler can be replaced with aftermarket just like any other thing on a car. Last time I was at Shannonville, I saw a WRX with a huge front mount intercooler with piping larger than the piping on my intake.
