that probably expains why i'm having such a HARD time trying to sell those chrome rims on this site. i bought them thinking they'd look sick now i'm dying to unload them! not because they look bad but when black people see that it's an oriental guy driving the car i get weird looks like they want to rob me. when oriental people see me driving the car i get the "what the f*ck is wrong with this guy" look. and when white people see me they just smile and say nice rims...LOL! go figure. lease:

i have the top rims for sale in 18". konig absolute (opal) with kumho712 (215/35/18)

i bought them brand new and they don't look right on my '99 sir and i don't want to use them on my 7th gen for everyday driving because of the thin rubber.

asking $2400.00 firm for the rims/rubber.

note: the rims/rubber are BRAND NEW (NEVER BEEN DRIVEN ON) still have the stickers on the tires.

BTW: blkcivic, i think i'll pass on the goldlines. thanks anyways.

Im white so I say the Chrome rims.....go figure! haha

Actually No..... you should go with the absolutes. those are sick rims. I saw them on L23tan's car at the Collosus meet and they looked real sharp on his black 7th gen.

hey nitehawk, if you see leo again ask him if he wants to trade back those 17" absolutes w/rubber plus $1400 cash to me, for my brand new 18" absolutes w/brand new rubber.

Whassup boys?!

I see y'all been talking about me!

No need to pass on any messages. I'm right here! Hehehe!

HighlyReflective... whassup?! Long time no talk! How's everything going?! Man, you alwayz have rims up for sale... and dude, I told you... I'm not loaded like these other guys! I can't trade you the rims you sold me plus $1400 extra dollars! There are a lot of other things I wanna get first. I'll do a direct swap with you tho... if you want! hahaha! Your 18's for my 17's... clean and clear? THINK ABOUT IT! hehehe!

Nitehawk... it was cool meeting up with you at Colossus with your Bro and your friend. It's been a while! Your rides are looking sick! Try to do what I asked you about advertising all (well, most) of your designs... so ppl can get a visual on the graphics you can do! Guys trust.... this guy can do any design you want on your car! I like what you have now tho... it looks unique, but also sick! Gotta love the reflective orange part too! SICK SICK! Hook us up with a 7thGen discount! hehehe! I want the JDM strip that goes down the side. Kinda like the Mugen or Spoon style... but something that will go well with my car. Something like, a silver border with a carbon fibre filling or something... just so it flows with the car.

And yes, my car is lowered... not slammed! I'm on H&R Sports... got them installed just a lil' over a month ago. I think it's settled... so now I can get my camber kit and my 4 wheel alignment. As for how it looks... it looks aiite, I guess...? hehehe!

I've never uploaded a pic before... but here goes... test test...

Ahh, forget it... I can't get the pic to show. Shiett... oh well!

Defnitely the top ones.
I gotta say too that chrome rims just don't belong on a civic
but hey I'm a white guy what do I know :P

They belong on Escalades tho
Speaking of Escalades, has anyone else seen the STREEEETCH Escalade driving around Oakville/Halton area? Maybe there is more than one but I spotted it twice now.. looks ... well cool... but kinda weird at the same time. It looks like it should have another axle in the middle to stop the thing from snapping in two from the weight LOL

hey leo, your car is looking good.

but i think it would look even better with the 18's. doesn't look like it has much of a drop though, even with the skirts on? that can't be more than 1.5. hey, it's still better than what i got on mine. (which is still at stock height) i probably won't drop mine till the warranty expires.

i just had my front struts replaced under warranty for leaking. the invoice showed over $1000 in parts and labour if i had to pay for it myself. it's times like these that i'm happy i didn't lower my car yet.
