i was at colossus tonite at around 11 pm. wow, that place was packed. i wanted to see the movie, but i didn't feel like sticking around til 12:30 start, so just went over to grab a bite, while chekin out the cars and all. some sweet cars, but nothing i haven't seen before. but holy shiat, it was cops-galore. there were some dumb-*** ppl tho, cuz one guy got caught speeding just after merging into highway 7 out of the movies...wut dumbass... why not just speed infront of a police station?
lotsa sleeper/stealth cops, too.
most annoying part is hearing all the car alarms go off every 2 minutes~
btw, lots of wannabe 16 year olds pulling up in mom/dad's cars acting cool~
that's my rant today..

I hear you, saw so many kids driving some nice cars. The best one was some kid(17?) driving a hummer. A lot of nice cars, but not really worth the drive.

Ok, just watched the movie and i thought.

WHy didn't they make a movie similar to INITIAL D instead? Where there are battles and a storyline that relates more to cars.

Maybe it's just ME who wants to see something like that in a movie.

Overall, beginning scene was great. The cop story is dumb. The asian girl didn't look that great and the cars looked pretty ugly to me.

i didnt end up going there on the first night of screening cuz i know i will get a ticket for headlights being too white and car being low...etc
so will go some other time instead

I can't help still gonig, but I hate going to the movies.

Sooooooo expensive. Needlessly expensive. It's definitely worth the $$$ to invest in a good Sony HD Projection TV these days.. and a kick *** surround sound system.

In the end what you spend on movies, you could get all that **** for practically free.

Only place that is semi-acceptable is AMC, when you go in as a student ($10).

okay i know this thread is old but i juss started posting in this forum... so here it is.
i am a team member of raceworld (i drive a 02 civic 4dr lx special edition)... that nite was a succuss for us (raceworld). The turn out was amazing. Jam packed.. ppl started double parking! Well we promoted our name and company as well as colossus... therefore that sunday.. we had a specail screening of the 2f2f juss for our team. We had many give aways in some of the theatres that was playing the movie.. give aways such as shirts, decals, and the best one exhaust!

As far as police wise... it wasn't bad at all... not much cars was pulled over, only stupid kids that were inspired by the movie and went out speeding or pulling up on races...
