can't take out my tail light!!?
i have a 2002 civic sedan and no matter what i do i can't get the outer tail light out. i removed the 3 screws on the inside of the trunk. i checked underneath the bumber and i noticed a screw just underneath the tailight(beneath the rear bumper). i took that out and i STILL can't get it out! it just wiggles around loosly but something is still holding the light in. can anybody help me out here! don't tell me that i have to take off my rear bumper!
f*cking b@stards at the dealership said it was no problem to take out your tail lights it's just a few bolts. i've been trying to get them out for 3 hours now with no success, few bolt's my f*cking a$$.

as per the manual, there are 3 nuts inside and one screw from underneath..
then 2 nuts from the outside that hold what looks like a tab which supports the housing....
then there's an alignment pin too..
maybe try a thin screw driver along the bottom of the housing to release it from what are probably locking tabs
hope that made sense..

two nuts on the outside!? that sounds like you're going to have to take the bumper off. forget it, too much work!
i'm going to take the car to honda tomorrow morning and have them take it out. b@stards are probably going to charge me at least 1 hour labour but it'll probably only take them 30 minutes. there goes more of my hard earned cash...and i work in a warehouse so it's more like DAMN F*CKING REALLY HARD earned cash.

yo....have some patience....and save your money!
just ask r2fresh or dragonace....
they're both west-enders and could help you out
r2 installed his own tails and dragonace seems pretty handy!
