I have no clue how to play. How do you drift? All my turns are just regular turns and it's no fun at all. =(

You don't use the handbrake. I am very good at Intial D, I'm okay at Intial D 2.

Man I rocked this guy, stock FD27 (RX7) {forgot my card} vs a guy with a modified Suabaru STi, I beat him by over 100km at Famous Players.

To drift...

Approaching Turn, Downshift (5->4), Release Accelerator, And TURN, Step on Gas Midway, Upshift, and goo.

4WD:

Approaching Turn, Slow Down, Apply Brakes A Little To Slow Down, Go Through Apex, Apply Gas.

Okay since many don't know how to drift in the game...

When aproaching the corner, just go down a gear, this will make you redline like crazy, and do an extreme steer, try it out. When your car is sliding around the corner, apply gas, and go up a shift. I can show you at Pmall!

Well I'll be at Autobas on friday evenings... but yea, if not it would sound wierd.

I believe Intial D 2 is $2 to play, $1 to continue, and $2 for the card.

The RX7 is a great car to play with, it has the power so if you crash than you can still catch up. The Nissan Skyline is a bit tough, its heavy, but than its 4WD. The Subaru STi and the Evo Lancers are pretty good cars, the new SXE13 (Toyota Altezza) is very good, good top end, faster than the RX7 in 6th gear, sweet. First track is easy, hell I goto straigh to 2nd stage, 2nd track without anymods. Anyways have fun... remember

When you downshift, you brake, this is required on the skyline to break traction on the rear...

For the RX7 it's alot easier.

When approaching a turn, just a few seconds before you turn, downshift, this will redline it, and steer. You don't need to brake with the RX7.

First stage, second map, this is the only turn you need to practice.

Go this Friday at like 5ish, just drop by at Autobas

I race with my STi...so are you saying you don't need to downshift for 4wd?...I am ok at that game..but still need a lot more practice....

I find D 2 easier than D 1 for some reaosn.....

For anyturn less than 90º, you don't need to downshift, just use good old fashion apex turning. I don't know if I'll be there tomorrow. Do I work at Autobas? I dunno, but I'm there sometimes.

I'm going to give up on ID... what a waste of $.
