Xbox Chipped+games??
hey greg2k1 is this the chip that still allows you to go on XBOXLIVE? if so would you be able to chip my box? also the games you can get are "backup" copies correct? call me at 416 219 4323 today if you can..thanks..marc

To chip it for use with Xboxlive it's $175 but......
There's a number of other services such as xboxconnect.com which allows you to go online free of charge. It's explained on the site how to work through it....
I get send you a list of games via e-mail within a couple hours. For xbox and PS2

Rep Power: 0 how much are ps2 games? right now im payin for 10 a game(cd), im planning on getting it modded, so i dont need to boot and be able to play dvd. at pacifc they're charging 130 i believe
I read on theinquirer.net [pretty respectable] that XBOX doesnt require modchip anymore to play copied games. you just have to solder and connect two point on the board, and voila.

moddin an xbox is just a few solderin here n there. just need to get the mod chip. who's to say the ppl who do it for you will do it perfectly?
if u really trust yourself u can mod it yourself. just need a solderin iron. as to the games $15 seems good, saves the trouble of downloading "backup" copies. if someone donated a dvd burner to me i could back up your original games "just in case"

From what I'm told burning a game takes upwards of an hour to do and you can't jsut make a simple copy of the original. It's a long process.
PS2 is the same as Xbox $125 for chip and $15 a game..
