Rep Power: 0 hey FO, if you already have the oem one on there, jsut go to acura and pick a new one up. it's like 150 with bushings and bar and the install literally take 20 mins (including jacking and lowering)..... only issues that might arise is the pain in removing the nuts at the endlinks.....

i know a shop that sells teh JDM DC5 rear sway bar (22mm) for $150 new in scarborough
the type S is 19mm and the base and premium is around 17mm
it will be the biggest and best bang for the buck type of mod FO so i suggest u get that then save up for shocks afterward

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, don't go too thick on the bar. It'll cause some serious oversteer and could rip your subframe. For the older gen Civic's a company called Beak's makes reinforced plates for the D-braket for the ITR bars, but I doubt they make anything for your cars yet.

Rep Power: 0 Alex's shop is located in
114 Sinnott Road, unit#15
Scarborough

the shop that sells the JDM DC5 rear sway is Defcon but u have to go thru illmatic from this board cuz he works there and he can get u a deal on them. So PM illmatic or call DefCon and see if u can get it for $150 without hookup.

Rep Power: 0 there's been probs with ppl show have the 22mm bars (progress/type r)..... the problems were not with the subframe as long as you got a good tie bar, but the prob was with the endlinks snapping.... our stock endlinks look like a tooth pick!.... if you do go with the 22mm, i woudl suggest getting the progress endlink kit too..... then like boo said, you'll probably need all the stuff on top too... like a rear upper strut etc.......
FO: yupyup, i got the 19mm on and it's done wonders to handling.... i actually got a shop to install it for me while i was getting an oil change. but if you want, we could meet up and tackle the install together..... it was really simple......

Rep Power: 0 if you don't have an oem one, i would suggest getting the whole progress setup.... the progress sway comes with a beefy tie bar.... and since you don't have the oem one, you'll aslo need the endlink kit too..... but with that all said and done, the car should handle amazingly.... you'll definitely feel a major diff...........
