if u get the H4 kit (low beam) then u wont have high beam so ther'es no daytime running light for sure

but if u get the H4 HID kit with high low beam then u have to do something to make it stop functioning. (i think take one fuse out from the fuse box)
ask Gusto, he has HID on his car and he should know more than me

Yeah right you can take out the fuses? I thought you would have to unplug something from behind the gauge cluster, i'll have to check it out

Cool, thanks, I'll check under the dash. I'm considering the Catz H4 dual beam kit.

The only problem with pulling the fuse is that the "DRL" light will come on and stay on. I am looking to figure out how to stop this other than cutting the wire in the gauge cluster.

There are 2 fuses! If you just pull just the one the DRL light will come on and stay on. You gotta pull both.

ok, what if I want my halo's on (attached to DRL), but I don't want my DRL lights on?

should I just disconnect the wires to it? is there any easy way around this?

if I take out the DRL fuses, the DRL will not go on, but then neither will my halos. I'm under the assumption that they'll operate the same way that the stock lights do, when the DRL are on, the beams on the H4's were pretty dim, but on nonetheless...
