FS: Red Reclinable Racing Seats *PICS*
I am having second thoughts about installing these awesome seats in my car cause I think I am a little too big for them. I just fit in them very snug but I dont know if I will be able to handle driving everyday in them with such a tight fit. I am 5'-10" and 190lbs. My back area fits very nicely but my legs are too thick from playing too much soccer and hockey.
I paid $700 for them taxes included and they come with sliders and are reclinable. They have a lifetime warranty on the fabric too.
You can check out their website for pics and info.
I researched these seats myself before I bought them last week and I was very impressed with what I read from other people in other forums.
If somebody wants to give me what I paid for them I think I will let them go.

They are the red/red touring seats.

I think they would look wicked too!
I have one of the seats in my livingroom and I sit in it every night to see if I can handle the comfort level and so far so good.
I would prefer to possibly get a different set of aftermarket seats that would have a larger seat area but if not I will most likely install these, unless somebody would buy them off me.

That is too bad!...... I know how it is..... I want a skirt kit but Im gonna have to put it on my line of credit if Im gonna get it.
I was actually supposed to get the seats installed on Saturday but I think Im gonna cancel and give it more time.
I was so anxious when I bought them cause the meet was coming up and I wanted to have them in, but my mechanic was in-experienced at doing custom seat install on the civic, so I had to wait.
I should have been more patient to begin with and made sure I fit in the seats very very well before I bought them, but Im sure everyone knows how it is when you get anxious to buy things sometimes you make mistakes. hehe...Oh well somebody buy these off me...PLEASE! haha

Yeah I called Alex and I am supposed to see him on Saturday but he quoted me $200 for install.
I think I am going to postpone getting them installed cause for $900 (seats + install) I want to make sure I am extremely happy with it. I dont know If I can handle being snug in my seat all the time.

Honestly man, my buddy got SPARCO seat...not reclinable and very restricting......I am 6'3" 210 lbs, and it is very snug on me, but the funny thing is that my back hurts when I DON'T sit in them now.....they are an acquired taste, but definately a wise purchase!!

i am 6' 3" and 190lb and my seats are tight also, but you used to it and enjoy the extra support in the turns.
i think that we are all used to the "bench" seat feel of stock, so aftermarket seats feel very tight!

i was thinking of taking them since my passenger seat has a bad cigerette burn on it but i might be too big as well at 6'2 210 lbs. my upper body is where i have most of my weight, i'm pretty slim at the legs and waist.(34 inch waist) will i fit in those seats comfortably at that size?
BTW: i find the stock seats a little too small, overall are the racing seats bigger or smaller?

Yes they come in a pair. It comes with sliders but you need brackets to make them fit on the original rails. I was quoted $200 for install, by the same guy that did Stillmatik and FlippedOut's seats. He really knows his stuff and will make sure that everything is set up perfectly. If you are a handy kind of person you might be able to rig something up yourself, but any seat install can be tricky if you dont know what you are doing.
The back portion of the seats is a nice size, and I dont have any problems there at all. My only area of concern is that its just snug on the side of my legs. I play a lot of hockey and soccer so my legs are little thick.
I come down to T.O alot on the weekends so if anyones interested in checkin them out let me know and I will bring one with me the next time I come down.
As for dropping the price, its already $100 cheaper than the original price and I dont want to lose money on the deal.
Trust me! when you see these seats in person and realize how nice the fabric and construction of the seat is and notice how light they are you will know that $700 is a very good price!!!
