Hey, a buddy of mine put the same motor into his 6th Gen Hatch and the car hauls! Unfortunately he spent almost 10 grand having it installed and now he is practically broke. You may have seen him he always races the **** out of it. Red with white and red interiorand white 5zigen rims.

Wow nice!!!
Slight problem though I hope your allready prepared for this.. the H22 weighs 163lbs more than your D16. That's alot of weight in front of a car, it's not going to handle all that great anymore.
Do you have owering springs or Coilovers on your car?. Because your fronts gonna drop another inch from the weight. You can just go to Mr Muffler or something like that and buy some 1" Moog spring spacers.
If you have coilovers it's easy, but your front end won't have as much suspension travel and is pretty likely to bottom out often.
Theres a good reason few people go for H22 swaps into civics. Kills the suspension dynamics of the car. The added weight on the front end the engine sits 2" Lower so your even more likely to dent or damage your oil pan.
I don't want to be the guy to bring you bad news..I'm just looking out for ya and making sure you know the risks with a H22 swap...
See ya soon... and gimme a ride when U get he new engine!!!!

You must be a few years younger than me, I lost the need for speed some time ago. Although I get some left overs finding their way in to my driving habbits now and again. In a few years when I can afford to pay the tickets I feel it will make its return. That coupled with the fact I will be finishing Law School, God willing!

hehe....well, first of all, my friend, had a supercharged civic, swtiched cars and now he drives the new WRX, then my other friend, drove a BMW 330CI, sold his car and drive the new WRX too, and swapped the STI 6 speed motor in the first day he got his car, my other other friend, drives a new maxima, just got a super charge on it, then my few other friends who STILL have civics are all doing swaps....i have to keep up....c'mon...
Never mind I understand now. lol Thats some pretty serious competition! I would just find new friends with S**t Boxes. But then that is just because I'm broke from paying all my school bills.
i dont think u will get a bigger left foot if u drive standard.
let's have a meet to measure our left and right foots for ppl driving standard. Pink will be the person doing all the measurment and all the guys and girls who drive standard must let pink measure it
hahhahahhah
vicLX, setup a meet for this~~
