OT: Got Pulled Over
Last night I was cruising along as usual, with my blue sidemarkers on, when I saw a cop turn out of a parking lot. I made sure I didn't speed, and didn't change lanes (because that would make them blink on and off). Surely enough, the cop pulled me over and gave me a chat. I had to put on my 4 ways when I got puleld over, and I realised he knows aobut them so I better not try and hide it now. I found out the lights were illegal after I installed them (flashing blue is snow removal vehicle), and so I figured that's what the ticket would be for. The cop got the ownership, license, and registration, went back to his car, and I waited. While I was waiting for over 10 minutes, another cop car came up and parked beside him. That got my nerves going. He came back and told me there's 4 charges.
1. Flashing Blue Lights - $130
2. There was no little sticker on my back license plate with the expiry date - (it was on the front.. oops) That's around $100ish I think.
3. Not only was the sticker not there, it expired in February! Theres $110
4. THe car is under my moms name, and she didn't sign the ownership
That's another fine, probably around $100.
But all in all, he gave me one out of the 4. He gave me $110 for the expired licence plate, and that's my moms fault.. Phew!

Rep Power: 0 Consider yourself lucky! Atleast you didn't get booked for all 4 offences!!! Shiet... how come I don't have that kind of luck? And I don't have anything illegal in/on my car... yet, I still get pulled over all the time! It's really getting annoying! Just pay the fine and you'll be alright.

i was with ice and the autobas guys...going 130 on steeles....! because we saw a 7th gen civic in dark blue (i dunno if this guy is on this forum??) anyway, we were playing around with him....
and seuddenly we saw the cop coming out of a street, my friend, the wrx, stepped hard brake but the speed is still 80 something..so he fly onto the highway and went home to switch cars....
anyway...the cop came out of the street wantitng to chase the wrx because he was going a LOT faster than the rest of us...at least 180 on stleeles....anyway....i was scared because i thought the cop would pull me over since the wrx is gone already....anyway..i was lucky..

Rep Power: 0 I was slipping past two minivans on McNicoll between kenney and Midland last Saturday, about to speed up (it was a tight lane change too) and saw a cop right there, I slowed down to 60. Anyway, the morale of the story, he tailed me until McCowan, a few cars behind, to see if I would speed up!!! I saw him only at McCowan when he U-turned. Damn, good thing I was half expecting him to call another squad car in front so I was going 55.
