i'm into hip hop with heavy bass and the stock speakers are doing nothing for me. i don't really want to upgrade my deck if i don't have to. would it sound good if i just added an amp and a sub? i just want to get that nice hard bass that you can hear thumping down the block.

anybody have any suggestions? prices, brands and places to buy them? futureshop, best buy, etc? i don't need anything too high end, just something with "THUMPING" power, if you know what i mean.

also, is it hard to install? does it require drilling holes through the interiors of my car?

if its thump u want then future shop and best buy can help, but you have to be aware that the guy isnt selling you :zbsflag: becuz they r just trying to make a sale, going around different audio shops, if u cruise on dundas in etobicoke u will find several, audio 2 go, 2001 audio video, phantom car audio and future shop too, just talk to the guys be straight up, but make sure they dont know that you dont know **** about car audio or you just might be their next victim of a rip off, personally i like the guys at audio 2 go, they r straight up and they wont sell u bullshit, make sure u ask questions like , "whats the most popular" "what do you have in your car" "can i see other customers rides" and **** like that,
