Help. possible car problems

Hey ,
haven't been on in a while.

Im having some problems with my car I think. On sunday Im driving downtown and the whole car starts vibrating

pretty badly. Never done this before. I thought maybe my tires had a lot of snow on them but it was on a wet

road. I also thought it could have been that maybe I lost one of my weights to balance the tires. But I don't think

that is it cause its not just the steering wheel thats vibrating. Its the whole car, you can feel it in the seat of your pants.

On the way home from downtown it was less noticeable.

Then the other day I drove it and I couldn't really notice it so i though it was gone. Yesterday I drove to school

and back and had the vibration both ways.

Today the vibration was gone when I was coming home??? Now you can only feel this vibration past 90km/h,

below that speed its ok, or less noticeable. Also when I pop the hood I can see my engine is shaking a bit but I

don't

know if thats normal. Also, its almost time for my 48, 000Km maintance and the maintances light comes flashes

when I start the car but goes away after a few flashes. I've also noticed that on really cold days when I first

start the car in the morning. The car starts really rough, like it doesn't wanna start, but I don't remember that

happening last winter.

Its a standard transmission car with not engine mods. Just a muffler and a few strut bars. And tire pressure is good.

Thats all the info someone might need to take a guess at whats wrong. I think i'll have to take it in on the weekend, or early next week.

Hope you guys can give me an idea of whats wrong so I can tell the dealership what to possibly look for.
Thanks
Mike

What I can think of now is the snow that is stucked in your wheel wells ...
it makes your wheels off balance thus vibrate ...

try to clean up your wheels and see if the problem still exists ... if it does then you better go check it out in a dealership ...

I had this happen to me 4 days ago. My steering wheel would wobble and my car would shake pretty bad at about 75km/h. I found out it was caused by a build up of snow in the wheel well.
Take your car to a coin wash and when you park it, turn the steering wheel either all the way to the left or right. Put in 2 bux and spray away all the snow out from behind your tire all in the wheel well area. I had clumps of snow stuck on my tie rod, lower control arm, my suspension, and practically everything in there! Once it was all gone, the wobble and shaking went away

Yah, I know exactly when I got all that snow up under my car. It was the sunday after that big snow storm. I had to go out in the morning when the roads were still bad. There was one section on 16ave where the wind was blowing all the snow on the road, and 2 cars were stuck.
I almost got stuck, but to get out I had to mash the throttle,,, probably throwing tons of snow up under my engine and front suspension .. Thats where it happened for sure!!!!!!
Thanks
