rearended - question about taillights

I asked this in CanWest aswell but i might get a quicker response in CanEast

just wondering if anyone knows what the 2003 oem taillights cost as compared to 2002 oem taillights
this is for sedan btw.

was rearended and am hoping to get the '03 taillights installed instead of new 2002 tails

any help you can give me would be great...

Well if you're going through insurance on your accident, you won't pay anything extra for the '03 tails other then your deductable. I'm sure the OEM '02 tails are just as expensive as the '03 tails. Just let your dealership know you want them instead of the '02's.

The 2003 tail lights should be the same price as the 2002. But you have to get them at the dealer. Not sure how much though.

the accident was totally not my fault - and the other driver had a few beers in him... police showed up, i had a witness too.... so its not gonna be my deductible if they come out a bit more expensive i hope they let me pay the difference... those new tails are sweeeet

as for the pics - there don't seem to be any '03 sedan pics anywhere on the site as of yet... just hop into your local honda dealer and check it out... they are verrrrry nice taillights

I don't really dig the new tails. They look ok but I wouldn't get those installed if I were going to get "free" tail lights through insurance. The OEM tails cost more but then again, everything costs more when bought from Honda. Try to sell them for more than a set of APC chrome tails and I doubt you'll get more.

For f*ck sake!!!! Honda wants $1288 for these 15" rims. JUST the rims! +tires +tax +balancing and installation after paying all that you could buy a set of "18 chrome rims!
