i went to one of the meet last summer in erin mills town center
1 guy was begging few other guys to help him to install his half red half clear tail lights and since it was my first TCC west end meet i gave the guy a hand on taking off his stock tail and let him do the rest. then i asked him if he has the yellow signal bulbs cuz i said if he used the clear one he might get **** from the cops and from my experience the 95 coupe uses 2 prongs 1157 bulb (i used to own a 93 civic hatchback so i know all about the 5th gen) and he took out the bulbs he bought and showed me...then i looked at the bulbs and it was 1 prong and 1156 bulb so i said it wont fit. then the f**ker was arguing say it will fit, i said ok whatever then i took out his stock singnal bulb and showed it to him and prove him wrong...f**king bastard can go f**k himself
then after that retarded guy i was talking to the only other 7th gen owner in that meet and he has a civic lx sedan with sport package....but i never seen enough kids talked enough trashs before...i bet him he still hasnt buy a single **** to put on his car yet...and he was saying **** about my car like I should buy Koni yellow, camber kit..etc cuz it looks weird in the back cuz my tires sit like /----\
well i said why dont u go get your car lowered first then talk to me....
and there's 1 more guy with a 93 coupe..but i am not going to start...cuz it's too long but yet it's retarded.
after that meet, f**k that...no more west end TCC meet for me cuz it wasted my time and those ppl are retarded.

to my understanding TCC is not hardcore racing / "I want to mod every piece of my car" club, rather they are a social club that allows civic owners to get together and shoot the sh*t. No everyone who buys a civic in the club wants to modify it, rather they just enjoy ownership of the vehicle. So what if he didn't know the different blubs? Hell, I still dont know what you're talking about. If he was a bit impolite or completely ungrateful for you help, that reflects his character not the clubs.

cosmicjim: i wasnt arguing with him, he was trying to question my knowledge and that's fine with me...i did my part and offered my help to help him install his new tail and i did but he did find out in the end that i was right. and the other guy who asked me about my suspension setup, he was impolite and jealous cuz we had the same car and his car was stock. big deal my rear tires sit like /----\. i wasn't showing off my car but he was asking me so much questions like why dont u buy koni and camber kit and where's your exhaust...etc.

totally agree with you marty....
certain people on tcc know a lot to do with car mechanics....
i think some of the most hard-core enthusiasts are on that board....they're a little bit older than the avg 20 on here...and they're working on their 3rd, 4th, 5th cars......those ppl know their **** because they've fiddled around with so many cars and have had so many experiences with their vehicles

maybe the ppl there don't know as much about 7th gens as the ppl on this board do...only b/c they have ALL generations of civics, not just one specific category...

it's all good though....we all have ONE common interest....thats our cars, so just share the knowledge with all

TCC is cool, some ppl know alot and some ppl have a stock 94 sedan, no problem with that,
I guess $30 is alot, but to some its absolutely worth it, but in my case I would like to see exactly what I'm paying for, last time they said its good
because you get to go to meets and meet nice people, but thats not what the $30 is for, if the site really takes $30 then i guess thats cool

so ya, agreed..meet people before you brand them all with being a certain way..
i've never met anyone here or there that i've not been able to be comerades with..when i meet you chances are it'll be the same way..at least i'm hoping that's the way it works out..

no comments on TCC, i've had my bad times there, retarded kids that doesnt know what they're talking about, etc etc you know what i mean.
but i know some nice people there too. to me, i just dont like certain individuals, but not the whole club. however, sometimes i really do think that first impressions REALLY count. i mean, i'm not on fob's side, but if it was his first meet, and got bad experience, any normal person would hesitate to go to that club's meets again.... well i just had bad experiences with those 3 individuals in my first and the last meet in TCC. i of course know some members there that are more knowledgeable and friendly but Pink is right, the first impression is very important. so i am bashing at those 3 rude ppl, not TCC. and i just dont see a point of charging $30, most club dont charge more than $10 or $15 to their members. i am not saying that's a waste of money but some ppl see it worths the buck and some dont. eveyone have their own taste and preferences.

my choice and preferences go to 7th gen civic - Canada East
