I brogught my car in for service yesterday requesting someone call me once my car was fixed cause the door lock wasn't working properly and the window wouldn't close all the way. So, when I went to pick up my car I was told that they couldn't find my car keys and remote. "Oh, we'll just cut you another one, bring the other's back and we'll re-program the keys" The night manager Jason Haynes didn't even get of his a$$ to do anything about finding my keys. "Is this your key? asks a lot guy" handing me a Honda key (just the key)... How the **** do I know?!!! Where's the remote if it is? Ok. So I have a key that they just cut for me and re-programed. But meanwhile, someone has my key and can get into my car!!! That's service for you eh?

Today, I go back and have to practically hunt for my own key in the cold having been tossed the ring of many keys to try and find my own. After being unsuccessful the lot guy says he found my key on the board at service. I go back to the lot where my car was parked only to find a guy working for North Markham leaning on my car and a short chinese guy starring at me like he had something up his a$$ and needed help, while both smoking by my car. What the F**k.

Eh, I needed to vent. Called Honda Canada already and filed my complaint. Don't know what they'll do about it. Just thought you guys/gals might want to know just in case.

I've been to 5 different honda dealerships in Toronto for service and the only one i'll use now is Formula Honda...the rest suck, in terms of customer relations and quality of service in my experience. It took North Markham 3 hours for an oil change with one other person there for service...Formula honda your in an out within an hour at most.

I was still relatively polite to those who were proactive in seeing that I was taken care of but the customer service up front who was supposed to provide assistance were just head-empty. I am never taking my car back there for service again, that's for sure. Pure waste of my time! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] How can you lose a set of customer's keys... and wtf was that guy sitting on my hood? If this is the way they treat their customer's car I definitely do not recommend taking your car there either.

Did I mention that some of the items I had in the side door panel were not where they originally were? and that someone had played with the boot below my shift ****, it was no longer attached securely as it was when I left my car there. Still, this I can handle without getting too pissed, but losing my key? That's absolutely insane![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

i usually maintain my own car, but sometimes i go to ready honda in mississauga, and they are pretty nice, fix my car in reasonable time, customer serivces is good

not to upset you even more, but I just adjusted an insurance claim with a nissian dealership which hte exact same thing happened and the policyholders vehicle ended up being stolen - When it was recovered there was NO ignition damage (which means whoever had it, had a key) - so we had a forensic locksmith do an examination - long story short it was the car key that came with the vehicle - we figure it was a service boy at the dealership - just a heads up -

i'm not a big fan of north markham honda either......... frig....... but i go there cuz its real close to my house..... anyway here's my north markham honda story

i was gettin that black rubber/plastic strip under the driver and passenger side replaced cuz they were loose.... and my driver side map light which would get stuck changed too.....well anyway..... i come home from skool that day... went to honda to get it fixed up..... left my car there around 3:30pm....... took the shuttle home........ i waited and waited.... and WAITED....... the f*****g call me at 11:30pm....... i was pretty pissed....... but its okie cuz i got it back......... but f**k...... i looked at the job they did....... that black plastic strip doesn't even fit into the mould that is on the door....... f**k...... i swear.... they are such lazy asses.....

Well, next time I go someplace else I will only give them my key. Still if it should have been lost I would be terribly upset. There's no security knowing that someone has my car key. My car is personal to me as I'm sure everyone feels the same with theirs. Not only was this incident a waste of my time, I couldn't sleep well last night all uptight and worried. Yes, that night manager is a major ***. That's why my bro no longer works there. AND they just canned a buddy of mine who was a tech there too. Why? Because he wasn't "up-selling". My buddy doesn't like to rip people off or lie to them to get them to have extra service done or buy parts unneccessarily so they fired him.

In the time my bro worked there, I've watched the night staff diminish one after another. Pretty much most of them quit because of the night manager.

LOL, the guy even smashed a customer's brand spanking new S2000 into the wall of North Markham Honda once.
