Hood Trim Piece Removal Help
Hey everyone...... in need of help right now....... how do I remove the trim piece on the hood?....... anyone do this before?..... any pointers would be of great help.

ummm....lift the hood, there should be 4 bolts that attach the trim piece...take them off. then in the centre there is like a plastic peg in the middle...you have to squeeze it and push the whole piece out. its been a long long time since ive done this so i hope thats correct.

holy **** that thing is held in there with some many screws and clips!
no wonder i couldn't take it off after i took off the four that were under the hood. guess i'll hafta give it another try tonight..... if all else fails, i'll just do what Blkcivic did and snap it off!

if you dont already have a new one why snap this one off? its not like its that difficult....just needs some patients. unless you really have money to blow....and you're really impatient.
