WAL MART experience

bare with me peepz

my car is stock and unmolested, as I'm basically waiting for the weather to thaw before I start slapping stuff on. simply, I had everthing planned out, set of rollers in February, bodykit in the summer, and other little things as summer goes on.
Even some of the craziest deals [especially those from GuSTo.. ] didnt stir me nor set me off course from my original plan, THEN....

I went to the Wal Mart to buy a pad-lock.

on the way to the hardware section, I had to pass by the automotive section.

I gave it a quick glance, and what did I see, a wide selection of exhaust tips, backed by the seal of approval from Wal Mart!

having almost bought a 100 dollar MOMO exhaust tip before at P-mall, I approached with skepticism, watching out for the 'FALLING PRICES'...

then I see the price label, it read, 6 dollars.

6 bucks!

I wanted to resist, to keep my promise of never putting crappy stuff on my car, but the inner ricer in me said 'try it, it's only 6 bucks, you can't fail.'
I picked it up, and proceeded to the checkout... no, a self checkout, shying away from the crowd

got home, stuck it on, and after giving it a good stare, I though, "it doesnt look too bad"........ yet I didnt know if it was the ricer or my sanity thinking.

I came back into my room, and contemplated my original mod plan..... then it dawned, all of my future mods now centering around the 6 dollar exhaust tip... it was horrible.... almost like a bad dream.....

HELP.

Still..You couldn't have lost with only 6 bucks... Of course, you could have gone to Mickey D's inside Walmart with that...

sure it looks just like the OEM tip from Honda, but give it 3 weeks to 1 month you'll see why it's alot cheaper! hahaha
Rust, rust, and more rust! Believe me, I did it to my Sentra before and it rusted almost as soon as I installed it. Like instant noodles, INSTANT RUST!!! Then it looks FUGLY!

6 bux! haha
I might just take a trip to Wal-Mart to check this thing out. I hate the way the stock tip looks so maybe I'll use this as a TEMPORARY solution as well.

Well I just got back from Wal-Mart and I think I saw the tip you bought.
The tip that I think you have was also 6 dollars in price (well actuall $5.97) and the tip size was only like 1 1/4". It looks almost like the optional OEM chrome tip and it's really long. I skipped on it because I was looking for something a little bigger but it's still a good buy.

no, the one I bought was 2"- 2 1/4". it was $6.47.... $5.97 one is the smaller one.
