ran a red, making a right turn.... d/t, right by eaton center...

it wsa red... going down... Victoria, i think? ... a street car stopped at the corner.... it was picking up passengers.. so i was sure there aint any cars gonna pass.. and i checked for pesdestrians..... none. so i just cruised through the light and turned right.........
next thing i knew... saw an unmarked cruiser speeding around the corner and on my a$$.... then flashed me. knew i was busted.. F**K

. guess theres a first for everything... should of expected it... right by the damn hospital anyways... should be cops around ........somewhere.
anyway out of this? ........... guess i'll just spend more money on my lawyer

guess i'll pray for the court date to be set in over a year.

I did the same thing when I first learned how to drive..
but then my uncle got a ticket for the same thing...

so now I stop at every red light even if its clear to turn right...
of course this was before the G2

I've noticed it happens pretty often... ie they turn right without doing a complete stop...
Is it even in the drivers' handbook? or did I not read it carefully [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

ah damn. i got caught doing the same thing, but with a camera. they sent the pictures to my house. the ticket is like $190 right?
im going to court with it, im probably gonna loose thought.

does insurance go up with NO demerit points on a ticket?

hey oldskool, how are you planning on fighting it? I have a court date soon in Brockville (apparently that's not a good place to get a ticket), 134 on 100, still don't know what to do. Go myself or hire POINTTS of Brockville. BTW, before anyone start saying POINTTS suck or whatever, they did get my one of my tickets reduced from 118 on 80 to 95 on 80, therefore no points.

How long do these courts take?

I got pulled over in October in Toronto.. went with pointts.. I am supposed to be expecting a trial date, but I've recieved jack **** so far through the mail. I'm a little worried... even though pointts says not to be.

nah no need to worry...i got my three tickets in november and i haven't yet received the trial dates either..just as long as you have the originals you are okay..with it stamped on the back....also..if i am gonna use points...do i have to tell them b4 i get the court date or can i see them once i get the court date?

I am thinking you can goto them anytime.. I mean.. they are there to make money, I don't see why they would turn away your business.

But benefit of pointts is that you don't even have to goto the courts.. since they represent you, they do all the dirty work. And you don't have to drive out there to show up.. only thing required from you is faxing of trial dates when you get it in the mail.

yeah thats the only reason why i wanna go to them..plus i got three in one day..so its better if they go and fight for me....what is the fee for them going to court for you if you don't mind me asking?...
