New Tranny is Fu*ed

Honda put in the new transmission in for my car yesterday...
every gear was ok except reverse..... he said every time put in the reverse
it's BANG now they have to order a new tranny again....dam* have to wait another
week.....

i know man.....i thought they haven't start to do anything..but i went their..my car was moved.....so i guess the tranny really has a problem on the 7 th gen....

How do you figure? They're replacing a defect/faulty tranny with a brand new one. That means it'll have less abuse then the original tranny.

they put in the new tranny and test it yesterday...and the tranny had error.
he said when he was testing it out when he put in reverse it's was bang...
everytime he put he put in to that gear...my car has been gone for like 2 weeks.
i fink more... er........ hate driving the loaner...

Hey question, what type of tranny do you have? Auto or manual? I'm having problems with my manual tranny in the cold and Im trying to see who else is having a problem with them.

my 5spd is great,,,,,,

it does get a little crappy in cold weather...... but just warm the car up........

heck i shifted once into gear without using my clutch!! whoops!!!! still holding up!
im hoping if my tranny blow's, so will my car!

putting in the new tranny isn't factory built quality. So, you basically see things sticking out here and there and it's not as durable.
Happened to our old old car where we had to replace the entire bumper, and other parts in the engine. Had an entire panel replaced. When we traded it in, the guy who does the quoting basically said we replaced alot of stuff so the value isn't as high. =(

i called in today reason why it's like that now...the service guy said the tranny was remanufacture, and it had the same problem, but not as worse as mine..
just on reverse gear...hope the tranny is going to be in this week..so i can get back

dont they all send their trannies to Honda, and then it decides whether to rebuild or give out a new one?

All they are doing rite now is they just remanufacture for warrantees..
if u paid, u get a brand new one...u know what i mean..
the tranny that they are putting in my car is remanufacture....
