Holy ****!! $300?!! Gawdamn... that's a lot. I hope you can do something about it, but I don't know how those traffic guys can help you. I think you might be better off speaking with justice of peace or something on this one..

They really deduct dermit points for this stuff??? Daaamn!! I told you people handicaps have too many priviledges!!

I got a ticket for the same thing once, only I didn't see the sign (it was off to the side, worn out, and it was dark.. and I was parked backwards, and I got tint). Anyways.. I went to the place where I pay the ticket, and told them I wanted a trial, cause this was bull. Of course, they dont' want you to goto a trial for such a minor offence. So they just offered me 40% off from the ticket, convincing me not to goto trial (it costs them money to run those things.. way more than the ticket itself). So I took it...

I agree, parking tickets is written to the owner of the car, they don't really know who was driving it, so can't take off points. I think it's just illegal parking and a fine only.

not exactly... speeding cameras only capture the image of the car... does that mean no one get the speeding ticket??? they assume one of the driver of the car would claim responsibility...

ODd, i thought i replied to this and it didn't show up. mmm

NEways, if it's one of those tickets the security guards give u (which is going to be MUNICIPLE).
U can easily get away without paying.

IF it's one of those Federal ones, you gotta fight it then =)

BUt what are you going to use as an excuse ???

wow you got screwed!

The original fine for parking in a Handicap space without a proper permit was $100. Not more then TWO WEEKS AGO did they just increase the fine to $300. That's shitty luck.. Sorry to hear that.

yeah, what can you really say about the parking ticket? true you were only there for a minute, but you're still not suppose to be there....it sucks that you got it, just bad luck i guess. good luck if you decide to fight it.

Try calling the Ministry of Transportation. They should have the answer you're looking for.

does'nt work that way.

Point deductions are pre-determined arleady. They have a whole list....

I was reading it and surprisingly, if you drink and drive. U don't even get a ticket or point deducted!!!

it's only if you hit something or someone taht will get you in trouble.

because at first, my bumper didn't fit, but they started to take myt car aprt already, so i can't drive it, then it's the hood that didn't fit, and have to wait for the paint to come (they were from the states), then they started to paint, and a chemical reaction occurred, my car 's paint was "bubbling", then they had to re-order the paint, which is another two weeks, then the first person that painted my car quitted because he can't stand the colour (too bright), then the second person started and then quitted after a few days, then the third person finally finished it for me.....trust me....talk about MISSING YOUR CAR!!
