IMAGE MOTORSPORTS

Took my car there a couple weeks ago and to my surprised it had been driven 220kms while they had it. They left me with an empty tank of gas (3litres to be exact) they left a drink in my car and changed all my stereo settings....then they had the nerve to tell me that they hadn't driven the car anywhere it wasnt suppose to be driven. WTF This is no way to do business and Im posting this message to warn all of you not to do business with them.

220km? damm, what were they supposed to be working on?

you should charge them 15 cents per kilometer and a full tank of gas at least. lol.

they are not getting my money, that's for sure. or anyone else that I know.

i was getting some body repair done to the rear bumper, which i found out image doesnt even do, they outsource it to a guy even younger than the "president" of image. and saint, you're right, those guys are around 19-21....young and foolish. i didnt think age mattered when you're running a business but i guess i was wrong. its not so much how far they drove it that pissed me off, it was also that i only had 3litres of gas left, i had to fill up 47litres and barely made it to the gas station. i get so pissed thinking about it.

Holy Shizzle!!!,

Youd think that they drove to Barrie and back with 220km.

Thats is total BS.

When you brought your car in didnt you fill out a work order form that would have posted your mileage on it before they worked on it?

Most shops usually do that and then you can compare it to the amount on the Odometer when you pick it up.

Something to think about for everyone in the future when you get work done on your cars.

I will never go to Image, and I am glad you posted this so others will know too.

actually they took care of filling out the work order for me. i guess my inexperience with these shops screwed me in the end, but at least i know for next time. yes, like nitehawk says, always have your mileage written down, and show the shop you know how much was on there. i took note of my mileage before i dropped it off at the shop, but they didnt know i did.

Im finding it difficult to trust a shop enough to leave my car there now.....

you are right... I guess the best thing to do for me come spring [when I start tacking on stuff] I'm going to consult the fellow 7th gen-ers before I commit to a shop....

I would have never left that shop on a good note. Trust me, I would have done something stupid.
But anyways, thanks for the heads up. Image will never see my car or my money.
