Reflection on Import fest...
Aight, pretty decent show... well pretty good show... no it was GREAT!
I loved it. Almost as good as Dark nights, Almost... but we know nothing can really compare. Although I was promised a skyline, the closes thing I saw was a eagle talon With the R34 [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] conversion, close enough. I was mostly spending all my time at the PE booth talking to those guy's who own the turbocharged 2002 Si. He said it's a pain in the ***, all the wireing and stuff. He running 8psi. Well Whoop de do basil! No they were pretty nice. They said on the dyno it did like 220hp at 8psi... better than I thought 
. I asked them if they knew were to get internals, and they didn't, I guess I am 2 steps ahead of them 
. Anybody see that orange 7th gen... the black one with a CF hood... or how about the 7th gen with the Slipstream R sticker on the front. Anyways what did you guys think, to much rice??? to much muscle??? TOO many BEAUTIFUL GIRLS![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]. Half of my taping was of some of those models. Anybody see that girl in that pink short dress. What a skank. . So what did you guys think?

REDVIC, remember that dude, that was behind you in the summer at Sparta, black 2 door, with the wing and NOS?? anyways he was there and is sponsored by 5Zigen......his car looos sweet too!
The show was awesome, but it was too much rice.....custom paint is nice (like Cue's) but the stuff there was a little overboard. The turbo VIC was sick, and I almost bought the BC kit for $850...thats a good deal.

Rep Power: 0 i was upset that i didnt see a skyline. they said that one would be there but oh well. i enjoyed the fashion show, the speedorama booth, the maxboost booth and the booth beside the stage. holy headlight conversions! muahahahah
yeah the orange, red, black and turboed 7thgens were sick!
there wernt alot of cars compared to last year, but there were alot of vendors. and talk about packed! i thought i was at a club or somethin. yeah the show looked sweet from my window at the hotel room. too bad i didnt bring a camera.
oh yeah i was shocked kardinal was there. i seriously didnt know, or forgot. . . soemthing like that.
overall for a dec show it was good.

He also mentioned the exhaust wasn't done for the turbo yet, and they had a no-name exhaust on the end.. I remember it being the same one they had on before the turbo... so i'm guessing he meant they didn't upgrade the piping and probably running a 2.25" cat-back, stock cat?
Either way, much props... they SAID... $5500USD for parts alone..?!
As for the show.. I showed up at 7 after my exam, stayed till around 11.. after last years flop, i'm glad they had better judging, meaning trophy winners were alot more spread out and deserving. the show was kind of dull....... even with all the blasting of music and models walking about on stage, the main attraction of the show [cars, and where was GT-R34?] just werent up to par.
glad I didnt have to shell out 20 bucks to get in.

Rep Power: 0 Yah that guy at the booth was full of ****. 225whp at 8 psi was a little far fetched, don't even think of coming close to 240whp and he would have to be running 14psi to run close to 275whp. And 5500 USD for the turbo my f**king ***, I paid $4 734 USD. And I have a way better set up then him. The stage 2 kit cost $3 300 USD, that comes with everything you need, intercooler and all. The kit is basically everything he has, no more no less. I'll kill him on the track next year. KILL! [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

i thought importfest was fun but should have had more cars...........but i thank everyone who visited the EAP/Eracer booth......and got pics of our models......we took home 2 awards......for 1st for baddest 240sx and 2nd for baddest VW jetta..........see u at speedorama in january.....

well i wouldn't go as far and say he is a loser....give the man his props..he has turbo...nobody else with a 7thgen around here does...and as for the price he gave you.its all about business....everybody has to make a living..and the price you paid wasn't too far off..i think he just gave that price...for a little extra profit of course......but dude...you better be running some sick times next year..cause you have been talking a lot of smack....just hope nobody else from other forums read your post..cause...you still have a lot of backing up to do...but from what we have heard..you are fast...but...now everybody knows it? wouldn't u just wanna suprise ppl and keep that sleeper attitude.....but don't forget...we all drive civics civics are a good car and i love my civic...but lets not make our car seem more than it really is....

there were about ZERO cars from the states there!
mostly none of them showed up becasued they were snowed in. You know that big gap at the back near PACER. yeah that was for them. and yes the skyline was suppose to be there. it just never made it.

Rep Power: 0 Overall i thought there were some really nice cars, but compared to last year it sucked. Last year there were a lot more cars to look at. It's too late in the year to have a car show of that type and expect lots. I guess i was just so amazed at last year's show that i thought this years would be better. Oh well. Still some amazing cars.

I really didnt get to see much, I was out in less than 1 hr. around 200 once and a sweep of the field/100 level. I just walked past the PE booth... and all the others too, I was in such hurry.
as for 2k3 importfest, maybe next year same month? what was the other one that was held during May at the The convention center [CNE]

I never heard about that! I give them alot of business and try to bring as many ppl as I can there...... As for the HP of the Turbo civic I was talking to them today and they said it has 225 HP at 8 PSI, I kno it was 225 HP and Im not quite sure of the PSI.

Rep Power: 0 if it's 225 then it must be at 8 psi... cause when I talked to them at the show they said that at 5 psi they were on 173 HP at the wheel at 5500 rpm... somthing like that.
Show was alright... not as good as I thought it would be. Of course I was disappointed that there was no Skyline present. That was all I wanted to see to make my $20 worth. Good thing I didn't pay. altogether the show was...

The guys at the PE booth were nice but 225hp at 8 psi untuned is not believable, a.k.a not possible. And everybody on the forum was told different. I give MADDD props for them and there civic, but the game is based on who has the bigger wallet and who has the time. Let the best 7th genner win. I have race that 5 zigen car on hwy 7 b4...didn't know he go nos... he was trying to pull up to me..i was like..haha.. time to go across the lane and between cars...keke.
