The KYB AGX's are supposed to come available with their 2003 catelog ... they said late spring... And they are not inserts in the front ... unlike the Koni Yellows.

Only thing I heard is the Koni Yellows ... unless you go with a true coilover like Tien SS ... but again I dont even think the Tien SS is out for our model yet. You can try a skunk2 or GC ... but still have to match it to the Koni Yellow's I think.

1) Is it even a wise choice to use COILOVERS in TO? Being keep saying the salt and snow is no good for the sleeves and grooves...

2) Holy COW I always thought a set of shocks would only be like $500 or so..... So, everyone here that's got a dropped ride (springs or coilovers), are either i) biting the bullet and spending $1000+ for a lowered ride, or ii) riding on blown shocks?! (well, sooner or later at least)

I'm from Ottawa and I would only think of getting a Tien Coilover because of the fact that right now the prices that I have been quoted from shops here for the Koni Yellow Struts is f*****g so high ... $1200 CDN without taxes ... thats $1400 without the springs. Add $300 for springs and install another $150 ... man your up to $1700 -$1800.

When you get that high you might as well be looking for Tien SS's .. I hear gonna be around $1700 ... you will be much better performance and will be able to slam it do the ground without a worry. Only thing is that winter you will have to put the factory stuff back on. But seroiusly I think $1700 -$1800 for just a strut/spring combo is way too high ... and if the Tokico's or KYB's aren't much cheaper (I'd say a reasonable would be about $800 for the 4 corners) I will probably consider the Tien SS's.

i went to JRP and they quoted me $2200 + taxes out the door + installation for Tein SS.
so AznHalfy, where did u get Tein SS for $1700?
and remember ppl, stillmatik stores his car in the garage during winter so his coilovers wont see salt and snow
