My car should be arriving within the next couple of days at London Honda and I just wanna say hey to all the people in the Canada East forum.
Looking forward to some possible meets, some cruising, group buys, and maybe some help from time to time.
Take care...

Do you have any future plans for 'vic?
Its a tad too late to start now as winter is just around the corner, however, spring time is just around the corner. :
I think I'll do the wheels/rims as the next upgrade in the spring. If you're going to be looking for tires, I hear theres a huge distributor here in town. I think they're the 2nd largest in Canada. I can't remember they're name though, but I could look around. I hear their prices are super awesome, but just from what I've heard.

I definatly plan on doing some mods to the car but there's one thing stopping me... Money!
The first thing I wanna do is drop an AEM CAI in there. Maybe later down the line (next spring/summer) I'll get a set of rims/tires.
BTW... where should I go to get a CAI? London Honda or elsewhere?
Thanks...

Don't do it at a dealership. Way overpriced - both on labour and cost of product.
Do you know of the "old" Canadian Tire in the east end. I think it was on First/Second or Third Street on Dundas? Whatever. Theres a Mr.Sub on the corner and theres a new small aftermarket parts store. I went in there looking for a Revo Technica short-shifter (didn't have it). I think the link I gave you has a link to it - "Unauthorized Performance". Again, I don't know these guys, but their prices are really good. I bought my InJen from another shop, $370 taxes in (too much, but hey, damn awesome!!!). You should drop by this place and get a quote.
Are you going to put in the CAI yourself? Its pretty easy. If you need a hand, I think I could help you out one weekend.
What do you have auto or stick?
If you get CAI, then don't install the extension piece because its too late in year. I'm about to take mine off and covert to SRI.

Unauthorized has some good prices. But if you decide to get your parts from London Honda Just go to Chris Butters, and quote him a better price you found. He'll either match it, or beat it. And if your warranty is a concern, they won't void it from after-market mods done there.
My car's put away for the winter, but come springtime. They're installing my AEM CAI, DC sports header, Hondata heatshield gasket, and Ingalls camber kit. Woohoo!

I'll check out Unauthorized to see how much they're charging for a CAI. I have an auto so unless I do something like NOS, I'm pretty much done for performance mods. It wouldn't make much sense for me to do anything else anyways seeing as I wouldn't net any good HP numbers.
I also plan on installing it myself so if i run into some problems, i'll let you know... Thanks

As for the DC headers, which ones do you plan on getting? SS or Ceramic. Their are a bunch of guys running the Ceramic headers on the K20A3's and they've had problems with the flange breaking off and rattling. I also heard that the Hondata Gasket is a pain in the *** to install too. Just thought I'd let you know.
Oh btw... what are you gonna drive around in the winter?
Glad you like it. Yeah, the white one's mine. The silver one's in London too (Joey). The black one's from Cambridge (Glen).
Glen's already got the heatshield gasket, AEM CAI, and DC ceremic header. He actually had the flange break loose in his engine! Fortunately no damage was done.
I'm hoping to get the ceremic model, hopefully they'll have fixed the problem by spring (I hope so anyways. That's bullshit).
But if not I'll go with the stainless.
So far, the only engine mod I've made is a 2.25" stainless MBRP exhaust. And this engine doesn't respond much with bolt ons unless, I/H/E are all on at the same time.
We all went to the dyno (kitchener) the day that pic was taken. I was the least powerful of the 3 cars Needless to say, I can't wait till spring!
My winter beater's an 87 Toyota Tercel it's embarrassing as hell. Especially since I hit a deer last winter in it. The hood's kinda banged up lol. Slow as dirt too. hehehehehe
BTW, I have a friend who's parting out his 2001 Si. He's not really into tuning. But, he's got a Ractive Intake, muffler, and an OEM spoiler for sale (black I believe). If you're interested in some barely used stuff, for cheap. Let me know.

Having the flange break off isn't that big of a deal, it's more a pain in the *** then anything. Apparently it'll rattle like crazy and you loose the 4-2-1 setup and ends up being a 4-1 header (which may be a good thing). And if you don't mind me asking, how much did you dyno in at and how much is your buddy willing to part for each thing?
On a side note, I called London Honda and asked Sami when my car would come in. He said he'd look into it and later left a message on my celly that they had my car and I could come in on Thursday to pick it up. Why do I have to wait another 3 days?
