Winter tire rating

Damn, just found out the Si's need H-rated tires... Gonna have to return my set of 4 Alpins... They're only Q-rated...

Now I gotta find out if Hi Tech can get the Dunlop SP's... I assume that the Hakkapelitta NRW's are quite pricey?

So what would happen if I use Q-rated tires on a car rated to use H-rated tires?

hakka 1 is better than nrw on snow/ice, same price, nrw are better on dry/wet than hakka 1, and its much much more quiet, my friend jsut changed to nrw and road noise is same as stock firestone, but the hakka 1 i got is noisy, check the other thread with green bay ph#, got my hakka 1 492 installed tax in there, but they dont have many left, but they should have more nrw in stock

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
It doens't matter that the speed rating is less on arctic alpines. They're snow tires, your not gonna race on snow tires. So what if they are only safe up to 160km/h you shouldn't be going that fast on snow tires anyways.

lol, ok... I rarely go that fast anyway (except off my driveway... :laugh

Getting the Alpins installed today. Costco's extended their sale till the 17th, for all you who care, the price came to $450 not installed tax in... So installed would be like $490, pretty much same as those other places.
