from what i hear it does have something to do with the exhaust..
furthur up than anything a cat-back would solve/eliminate..
was talking with a guy a few weeks back and he said Honda's denying it big time (tho they did trade him up to a 2k2 over his 2k1..hmmmmmm)
gotta be either the manifold or the pipe leading to the cat..

start comparing notes guys..stock/vs. after-market etc..
come up with a list of changes and effects.. (anyone running a header?? )
then go at them all at once with proof of what's fooking up..
if ya get no response start a little info session with any and every car mag you can find..
or the BBB for lack of customer satisfaction..dept of consumer affairs works good to

Yeah, stupid bogging noise came on on the Sunday it was snowing. The whole morning when I was driving every couple feet I drive the car began bogging right underneath the passanger side and shifter. It was really pissing me off. I think I'll be bringing in my car to honda to see if they can check it out. I know there is a service bulletin (#010302) out for the exhaust for our cars and I'll bring in this in as well. Only probrem is that I have a greddy evo exhaust and that probably voided the warrenty. I just want to get rid of this annoying noise, it's like my car feels likes it's going to die out on me. Even if it means I have to pay out of my own pocket. Thanks for listening guys.

Well, add another to the list. I'm experiencing the EXACT same problem in my SiR. Strong vibration/noise coming from under the front seats. It never happenned till I put on the aftermarket exhaust. Went to honda about it. They told me to bring it by when it rains, so they can hear it themselves.
Car's stored now so I'll have to wait till spring.

Anyways, I think there may be a leak in the seal, between the catalitic converter, and midpipe. But I'm not entirely sure. You need to understand that your piping does a lot of expanding, and shrinking, under different temp extremes (heat from engine, then cold rain). If anyone figures it out for sure though. Let me know!
