They are definitely 6.5" in the back, I think they are the same upfront. I replaced my back ones, they are cheap flimsy speakers, I broke the 'clip' off one of them putting some stuff in my trunk so I was forced to replace them or else disconnect the speaker or listen to it make rattling noises, I'm glad I did, the new speakers I got are much better sounding, planning on doing the fronts one of these days, maybe even with seperate tweeters... can they be mounted on that little plastic triangle that is behind the side mirrors above the door panel?

the fronts are 6.5" the rears are oversized 6.5's.. I would reccomend changing the front speakers before the rear..Music is supposed to from in frontof you..not behind you.

You have a coupe ..

The speakers are OEM Honda brand..made by Pioneer.. the US part price is $13 from a dealership..with dealer markup..it's a $4 speaker.

If you want the specs for the 6.5's they handle 20Wrms 30 watts peak. 86db sensitivity..crappy sound included..

The 6x9's in coupes are Pioneer's..they can take 30wrms 60 watts peak. 89db Sensitivity.. half decent midbass..massively distorted midrange.

I was going to put 6.5 I got off the e-bay in front but the installer said it does have opening for 6.5" but the depth is too shallow to put it in. So I had to buy 5.25" to put it in front and 6.5" one went to the back. Does this sounds right? or was he trying to sell me a pair of speaker?

Damn I really wish I could do it myself. It wasn't just speaker install. I got new headunit + front speaker + rear speaker + sub + amp installed at the same time.... And I don't know where to mount crossover, tweeter and stuff....

Zooh..the speaker depth has nothing to do with it's Diameter.. All yuo need a speaker spacer to fit them in. Some speakers liek My Rainbows, Infinity Perfects, JL audio XR's, Anythign Focal all need special care in getting them to fit.. like a 1" speaker spacer and taking a dremel dool to the speaker ring on the inside of your door panel..

Every square inch of my car is sound deadened .. Dynamat is a ripoff..it's a good product..but the price is insane.. I used Brown Bread from b-quiet.com Much cheaper than regular Dynamat..same quality as Dynamat Extreme...
