On average, stock vehicles will gain 3-5hp at the wheels. Also, the more mods , the more power potential gains it has. Power gains vary by vehicle. The tuner, XS Engineering, dynoed a Nissan Maxima with gains of +8hp and +13.1lb-ft. The Hyper Ground System starts from $195 for a complete kit.

Do you attend TCC meets? Do you go to Kennedy Commons?
IF you do, I am always there.
I was there last night at the TCC meet at O'Connor and then later at KC.
Anyhow. Do not hesitate to approach me to ask questions about the Hyper Ground System.
Most likely I'd be at KC tonight around 9-9:30pm if you like to drop by.

9-9:30 eh, maybe. Right now I'll read up on it first.
$195 sounds kinda steep, and how about install? I just wonder if it's a worth while mod to do.........[hr]

Is it a worth while mod, definitely YES. Is it hard to install? NO! It comes with an instructions manual. Do you know what a cylinder head and a cylinder block is? If you do, then you know how to install.
Why? It is simple. If one can spend approx. $350 on a cold air intake system that generates only 1-2hp and can spend money on a 5-Zigen Fireball exhaust that takes away 2hp and takes away 1 lb-ft torque (Import Tuner Power Pages for EK Civic), then why wouldn't you spend a couple of "bills" on a product that produces 3-5hp (at the wheels)?
If one can spend money on a TYC headlight assembly which does not increase power and TYC headlights are not cheap mind you, then why is this product so hard to accept? The gains you will get from the Hyper Ground System can be felt. Can one feel the improved lighting from your TYC headlights? Does it shine farther? Does it shine brighter now that you have TYC headlights?
Like I said, you are welcome to drop by KC tonight or any other night. Most of the time I am there. I am more than willing to show you and talk to you about the Hyper Ground System or anything else you want to talk about.
If you can come out to a TCC meet, then you can come out to KC. It won't hurt you to come out and talk about cars right? That's what I do anyways when I'm there at KC. There is a group of us there everynight.

haha, ok ok, you sound so adamant about the product!
I'll try and stop by sometime and talk about this. If you can convince me, I'm sure I'll have some Christmas bonus stashed somewhere for a winter upgrade.

Not as much afraid than stripped on cash. If these wires are as good as you claim they are, I definitely would look into them before my exhaust and header next year.
I was initially planning on just lowering my car w/ springs. Then it started from there into ~$3000 worth of mods this summer. Still have to pay back student loans and such, gotta hold down my spending and pay off some debts!
$195 is not a large sum, but large enough to not go "hmmm, I think I'll spend $200 and try this out and see if it works" off the bat.

Ouch! But you didn't regret it right?
SiRB16,
I hope you didn't take my last post as bashing or anything like that. It's just natural instinct for me(and probably lots of others) to question mods that come out for our car. The reason I asked was because a guy I know said that replacing the ground wire that goes from the engine to the chassis would increase HP. He didn't know how much it would help my car though.
So is what you have similar to this but goes a step or two further. Just curious because for the price compared to other mods it is probably worth getting.

I do regret the dash kit, which I might rip out and just paint eventually, but the rest of the mods were all worth their $ value.
If I knew how this would unfold before hand, first on the list would've been rims, but alas, I went another way. I love the koni's they're the most expensive of the list but best value. I was driving my dad's 99 Accord 4dr the other day, and thought: this car handles like crap! Then I rode in that car as passenger and though I was gonna puke from the body-rolling!
I'm bonding with the Kenwood, and definitely liking the CAI, no matter what others say about loss of power it seems to run better IMO.

I like to try new products especially when it comes from Japan. This is my instinct.
I was also skeptical until I tried it for myself. I was told a lot of people were skeptical at first, but when you have it in your car, you automatically become a believer. The HGS kit is ground tuning from Japan.
I like to share with people my experiences and my knowledge. Its just sometimes frustrating. Turning skeptics to believers is a difficult thing.
I studied engineering and there was one course that I took. I remember it talked about the washing machine and when it was introduced to the market. The Americans developed the electrical washing machine and Canadians were hesitant to switch over. It took approx. more than 10 yrs before Canadians started to use the washing machine after the Americans. IT is no wonder why Canada is always one of the last countries to get anything new, yet we complain about it. Go figure.
