WTB: OEM "STYLE" fogs w/wiring
Like these.
$100US so $160CDN max $200CDN is what I'll pay... Gusto, if you can hook it up you know I'll buy from you.
I don't trust the remote kind, coz wiring won't go bad, but a remote control unit might. I'd rather spend the $300 including $100 labour to properly wire up the fogs then spend $250 on the remote ones and find out the remote died in a year or so.
Someone sell me set of these!

I got really lucky and got mine off of Ebay for like $75 US, shipped to my friends house in Niagara (US side) and picked up by me Saved quite a bit of cash
It's kinda scary cutting through the plastic though... The OEM style kit isn't quite the same as the actual OEM kit, but I think it works just the same and you don't need to cut any hole inside your car
. Considering it's more than $300 for the OEM foglights, if you can get them for $100 US, it's a pretty good deal. Install took me about 2 hours, but that's because I couldn't figure out where to run the wire through the firewall. I could probably do it in an hour now
Actually I think the seller was the same too
Hell for $300, I'll get them and install them for you...

My bro used to have a pair of IPF fogs for his Corolla back in 98, and it had a remote.. never had any probs. It was nice, because there was no holes drilled into the dash, and no extra wiring linked to the interior of the car. The lamp was simply plugged into the batter for power, and that's it... give it a shot!

I want to see if anyone here can hook me up with the OEM replica first, then *maybe* I'll try this Procarparts place but ppl on this board has scary stories about em, so I'm on a reserve right now.
Hopefully Gusto can hook me up.
Otherwise I might try the remote one afterall...

best thing to do is hard wire them in if you wanna by-pass the remote..
3 wires, easy install (after you cut up your bumper anyways
...ask Gusto how intense i was when doing it..heh heh)
if you want it switched just take either pos. wire and run it to a switch..

not really..
i just wish i had have left the extra little bit of plastic..
instead i had to use a self tapper from underneath to help keep the housing pushed out enuf..
i have a saw that works pretty good, and ya gotta remember to tape up the areas around the cut zone (i chipped my clear coat )
tho if yer coming out to 2K1's neck of the woods to do it, by all means gimme a hollar as i'm somewhat local to him..
if ya's want the help, i'll be there...................
