OMFG Kia?!

I don't know, do you guys think there's more punch to Kia's in the States? I stole this from somewhere, but thought you guys might like to talk about it, hahahahahaa........... I thought the Paseo was bad.

Note the first post about beating an RSX by 3 or 4 car lenghts?! I think the RSX guy was just cruising, and found it amusing that there was a Kia going over the red trying to run faster........................................... I seriously doubt a Kia with a K&N filter can come close to keeping up with an Echo, let alone an RSX, hahahahahahhaha.... You know... this is why I don't believe ANY racing stories on the internet (despite the fact that I post some myself). You don't know what's true, and what's not true. Everybody has a miracle story, on every fourm. I even see guys on this fourm, talking about how they smoked a Sentra SE-R SpecV, or a Celica GTS... with their stock ride, equipped with a CAI intake. Give me a break.

Truth be known, we have no idea who that RSX driver was. It could've been a person who just bought the car. It could've been a person who doesn't know how to drive. It could've been a person that just snickered at the eager beaver Kia. Or it could've been a person who didn't even know that he was racing. Or didn't try (left it in a high gear).

There are hundreds of reasons why the Kia was ahead of the RSX......... it's pretty dumb for that guy to just assume that he "smoked" one.

Yep, I couldn't agree more. I mean when you beat a car by 3-4 car lengths that has better performance than you, don't you question whether or not you think they were actually racing you? I don't know why people enjoy street light racing so much, to me there's no real skill involved at all. It's all about your engine performance and which car outperforms which. Yes there is a factor of the driver's skill, but to me true racing lies in autocross and WRC.

Why would anyone by those things??? Nothing against the peeps but the shape of the car is just....ehhh I dont know.
Honda established their name in everything.

KIA will never beat the RSX.

I just found it funny. I guess BMW ppl will laugh at 2k1civic.com the same way...

It's like us saying we've beaten a WRX by several car lengths. Coz seriously, if a WRX wanted to race us we'd be starring at his

heh, those are BS, but as far as KIAs go, they are being smart, if you look at the way they are doing, there's a striking similarity between KIA and HYUNDAI and to an extent early Honda and Toyota...

that new SUV from KIA called Sorento looks nice... kinda like RX300 from Lex, but better looking,

Brand new Kia Rio: $13,000 and change....

Brand new Honda Civic: $18,000 and change...

One has to live within the budget (or resort to a used car)

I've had a Hyundai for rental once... Couldn't stand it took it back for a Cavalier, even a regular Cav was 5x better. I feared for my life in the Hyundai.

My co-worker had a Daewoo when he was in Australia, and the dash cracked under the heat of the sun, and lo and behold, beneath was CARDBOARD!

The new Tiburon is alright, coz it's not really Korean. The price is not really *that* good though, mind as well go RSX. VTEC over V6!
