FS: TelUS LG phone

digital camera

phone

The camera when i bought it was 499 and i got a 3yr warranty on it. future shop is stupid and wont give me the difference on the camera so the camera is now 419.99......ill let it go for 375 and it has a 3 yr warranty on it. you only save like 50 if u buy it from me but atleast u got an extra warranty and u save tax right......

the phone was 290 with taxes ill let it go for 200.....if you hook it up on a 1-3 yr contract u get a 50 credit every year of the contract. its been hooked up already but i cancelled it cuz for some reason i have 2 of them.
ill be honest its been dropped once and it has a tiny scratch in it!!
let me know if anyone is interested.....

email me at klys@cogeco.ca
or icq 107744053

umm, where did he get the phone from!! it ends up being that after u put it ona contract and u fget the money back by a credit to your account....u still pay for the phone up front and than get the money back...and the phone is 400 than u have to add your taxes......so that like 460 by the time u are done .......and some places get you for a warranty....so i got the camer and the phone with warranties for a little cheaper than what the sell for

Yah, don't be dissing off seller's prices unless they're outrageous. $200 for a $250+tax phone is good. The contract can only be signed after 1 month of use (after the "30-day return" policy).

Should confirm with Telus if anyone signing up on a line can get a contract tho.

The phone, it's a special deal they were offering at Pacific Mall. I'm not sure if it's upfront or not BUT i know the phone was like 60 bucks and that was it.. with a 3 year contract.....

The Camera, i got it at Time Square (Highway 7 and leslie)

I have no idea what Msoft is talking about because the contact was signed right away (3 years) right when you purchase the phone. =)

Not dissing but I think people should be aware so next time, u can get things a bit cheaper or alot cheaper.

And i'm not telling everyone not to buy.

The stores at Pac do their own promotion. When you sign up the contract with them they bite the 150 up front, providing you sign an agreement to stay with Telus until at least the 30 days. After which their responsibility of the deal is over. They also give their own $50 promotion on top. So a phone that's $250 - 150 contract - 50 promotion is $50.

What you don't get from them is Telus' 30-day moneyback guarantee.

For a phone bought from Telus, you buy it for $250, then you have 30 days to try it out. After 30 days, you can sign up on a contract to get $150 credit. Within 30 days you can return the phone and get $250 back, just have to pay for the month's plan.

Haha, i know all this coz I owned 6 phones from Clearnet/Telus... And 2 from Rogers.

Getting the phone only from Oldskool is a reasonable price coz it's actually even cheaper than getting the deal at Pac Mall and you can decide on a contract later. If you don't want a contract Pac Mall stores won't give you that $50 discount.

Ah well, I'm also just posting my opinion, and some info on how Telus works. Sorry, I didn't aim the last post at you SCS, just trying to give some fairness to oldskool coz the way stores at Pac Mall work is different.

Msoft, knows his shiet, as a Telus employee I can validate his advice. $200 for the LG is a great price.....its better then my employee discount!!!!! As for the contract goes, it is a little sketchy whether or not it can be signed unless the phone is purchased brand new, give them a shout and they can find out for you.....just my $0.02!!!

No no, absolutely not. Telus is CDMA and Rogers is now going to GSM... I meant Telus customers.

You can get a new GSM phone from HK and pay $25 to get a GSM number/card. Phones in HK are cheap!

Haha, cheap as in what's $1000 here might just sell for $4000HK, which is like $800CDN and no tax! But I'm sure most of us here already knows that.
