Today around noon I got a tikect on Rathburn and around tomken Rd in Mississauga. It was for $150 and it was for going 82km/h in a 50 zone. That is what the cop told me. He told me that it would be 4 points. I needed some help because on what to do because I want to save my points. :cry

if u got nailed with the radar gun ur a dead man.... cuz cops always show up for speeding tix.... just plead guilty with explantion....

here are some tips //
you have to fight it.
take it to court and pray that the cop doesn't show up... (he will most likely be there)
plead guilty and make up a silly excuse (for example, im a student and i cant really afford this ticket)
ask politely for the minimum charges and tell them you'll pay it right away (same day)

im pretty sure w/ minimum charges you will not get demerit points or at least not get as much as 4...

these of course are just suggestions...

FIGHT IT with representations....go to pointts. i go to court sept 9 for my ticket and i pay them 315 to fight it for me. they said they can get me down to 1 if not 0 points..........im have 4 right now for doing 34km over thee speed limit!!

wow.. cops must be trying to make their quota or something... I just got nailed with a "Summons to appear in court" for going 53 kph over on friday. I'm more screwed... if I go to trial and lose: 6 pts + 30dayz suspension. Hmm... I had a clean record for 6 years too.. what a shame...

OK my friends a LAWYER... and NEVER EVER Plead guilty w/ and expalination.....all they care about is the guilty.....

Its just like pleading guilty to a murder with an explaination... so never PLEAD guilty

thats so funny, my friend got a speeding ticket doing 53 over in an 80 zone, and she just got a summons to appear in court sept 9th.....shes having someone represent here....thats odd that is 53 km over just like you...it was on highway 10 in orangeville...were u on that highway???

Yes you should definately go to court for that one.

The insurance company will not like those demerit points. They will increase your rates most likely.

I think that would be 3 points not 4 points... not sure though. Anyways get ticket fighter no matter what. I had 2 speeding ticket and I hired ticket fighter for both. One was just dismissed and one got reduced considerably. And usually you only pay about what ticket cost to ticket fighter and if they can't dismiss it, they pay for it. So you have nothing to lose!

Not true.... Only way you will get same points as not going to the court is if ticket stands as is which almost never happens if you go to court. Either it will be reduced or dismissed.

last yr ...around nov..i got 7 ticket at once..... all this crap...
i took it to this place...points deduct...9059449898 they r really good..
