Radar Detectors
Usually I drive home late on weekend nights (3am-5am) from Richmond Hill to Hamilton. Most of the time I am either on 407 or 401, comfortablely doing 130-140km/h, since there is no traffic whatsoever. I'm a little concerned though, incase there is some cop with insomia out there with a radar gun in his hand. So I thought about getting radar detector as a solution...
I'm seeing some pretty cheap radar detectors on eBay. I know Valentine One is an excellent brand, but too many people are bidding on it and they are actually selling for more than retail price. Of course, the retail price is already up the poop chute. How is Cobra? Or Uniden? Those are some of the names I am seeing selling for cheap.
Will these devices even actually help me?
